Q: I'm interested to hear your thoughts on Ballard Power at $20 given the 52-week high of $53.90. Is now a good price point to get in?

Q: I made the mistake of buying 200 shares of Ballard @$46.50 a couple of months ago just before it commenced its early-February fall from an all-time high. At the current price (~$30), I am tempted to double down with another 200 shares to bring my avg share price cost to ~$38, representing about 4% of my portfolio, a level with which I am comfortable. Am I nuts, or is BLDP poised to reward my faith and patience over the medium term (5 years)?
Thanks for your insights!

Q: Hi Guys!
WIth the announcement made by the Trudeau and legault administration yesterday, do you see any interest why Lion would not want to venture alone without NGA tagging along? Also as mentionned by Lion officials, they will have to purchase their cells trough another party preferably a Canadian company. Would you see another partner than Ballard to be able to achieve this?
Best regards
Ben.

Q: I saw a report on BNN that CP will be using BLDP's power cells in their hydrogen locomotives. Is this announcement significant for either company. Do we know when these locomotives will be manufactured and how many?
Thanks for your insight.

Q: I can't say I expected the green industrial stocks to do so well so quickly. I mean, I'm happy and all but it's all moved so fast. And I must say that with the urgency I feel we need to deal with climate change I'm glad that the market seems to agree with me (finally - and perhaps only temporarily?!).
Can you provide a short list of Canadian and US companies that would fit into the general green industrial/energy space? I own most of the above, but am looking for something I may have missed. I don't own any US companies in the space.
Thanks

Q: I have been looking for exposure in the hydrogen business and have a few questions. I own XBC based on your coverage and have done well so thank you. My first question is whether it makes sense to just pile into the US names like PLUG or FCEL as they are much more explosive given the audience or to look for quality names doing similar things in Canada. If you could also state your thoughts on why one market is better despite similar tech.
The second part of my question is that I notice DYA comes up alongside Ballard Power and Xebec in your answers related to hydrogen. The chart on DYA is almost an exact reverse of BLDP and XBC which holders of those stocks will know is a bad thing. What is DYA not doing yet (or has done wrong) that has caused it to go down vs. up? What needs to happen for it to catch investor attention? Is there a product or service yet to launch? Is there a technology not yet widely adopted? Lastly, does 5i see strong potential here for DYA to do "that thing" that will be a catalyst for the stock price or are you merely mentioning it as one in a sector.

Q: Hi PETER/TEAM Can you please recommend 1 or 2 US and Canadian HYDROGEN stocks. Thanks for your great service.
Q: These 2 companies seems like they are in competition with each other. I currently own a little of xbc should i add about 2 to 3 % of bldp as well. Seems like Ballard is making a big run lately.

Q: Good afternoon, team. This morning on BNN it was announced that CP is planning on developing a hydrogen locomotive. The G&M had an article identifying stocks it felt were positioned to make a pivot to the "hydrogen ecosystem". These seemed to be mostly drillers: HAL, BKR, SLB and, in Canada, PD and EFX. Also today my Economist arrived with an article hydrogen powered flight. Something seems to be happening here. I have had Ballard Power but it hasn't ever made a profit. Is XBC in this field? Can you identify two or three US and Canadian companies that might be good for investment now?
Q: With our governments announcement of plans to increase hydrogen production in Canada, can you suggest stocks or other areas of interest that may benefit from this?
Q: Could you please suggest a few names - preferably Canadian if possible - of companies developing hydrogen as an energy source along with any insight/opinions you might have.
Many thanks, Dave
Many thanks, Dave
Q: Do you have any comments on Ballard given the renewed interest in hydrogen as a fuel source? Can you suggest other companies in this area worth considering.
Thank you
