Q: Any reason for the recent downturn today? Is this a good time to buy or should I wait?

Q: Your opinion on AGT, please. Thx.
Q: Hi Peter and Staff
Was a bit surprised yesterday in your response to Matt about his dad targeting 6% return. You suggested for additional names GSY,HCG and AGT . None of those three generate that in yield so you are obviously expecting capital appreciation. I have seen you recommend GSY and HCG many times and own those but have not seen the same level of referral about AGT from you. I have considered it in the past but was always thinking I had missed the boat. Scotia came out the other day after earnings with basically a hold with no movement in the next twelve months. Since then it has dropped. Globeinvest for what it is worth say current P/E is 51.20 and future is 12.76. Could you please expand on your reasons for optimism and potential for share appreciation.
Thanks for all you do
Dennis

Q: My first question Re AGT was why the huge discrepancy between the Q1 EPS ($1.12) reported on the Financials and the $0.20 reported on the TMX research page for AGT.
It turns out that although it was not mentioned in the News Release in the Q1 MD&A they did in fact report “Adjusted EPS” of $0.20.
It looks like to calculate the “Adjusted EPS” they ignore any Unrealized FX effect.
There was a VERY LARGE Unprecedented $10.959m “Provision for tax” reported.
Do you have any thoughts / comments on this?

Q: Could you please comment on AGT's latest results and expectations going forward?
Thank you

Q: Actually I got the $0.20 EPS for AGT from the TMX site under the research/earnings tab on the AGT quote page. Not TD Direct as I said.
http://web.tmxmoney.com/earnings.php?qm_symbol=AGT
I noticed some EPS discrepancies on another company I looked at there as well.
It would appear that the TMX site is worse than useless for that kind of research.
Wrong Info is worse than No Info….

Q: Could you please comment on AGT Food & Ingredients recently reported quarterly earnings and adoption of a Shareholders Rights Plan.
Thank you for you great service!

Q: What is your take on the Q1 results? They looked good to me.
I am a bit confused. In their Financials they reported Diluted net earnings per share of $1.12
TD Direct reports the Q1 EPS at $0.20
Why the huge difference ?

Q: Hi Peter,
Could I get your thoughts on Q1 results? Investors are apparently not pleased this morning.
Thanks
