Q: Does the nyx saga finally seem over? I was thinking of selling the position and buying DHX. Or should I tender the shares?

Q: I would appreciate your comments on the just released press release of TSGI concerning the sale of its securities of NYX to Scientific Games.
Many thanks, Peter

Q: I see that Scientific Games already has purchased 10.72% of NYX shares under their amended agreement. William Hill will have to make a decision quickly. Do they have options other than making a hostile bid or just dropping this altogether? Do they have legal recourse?

Q: Hi,
What are your thoughts on the update today regarding NYX - interesting to note that TSGI spiked on the news of the halt.
Could we still see an increased offer from William Hill yet?

Q: Please comment on their latest earnings release and what it might mean if the takeover of NYX does not occur. If you have any further comments on the likelihood of the takeover being successful, they would be appreciated. The stock is currently trading at my cost so I am trying to decide whether to wait or run. Thanks.
Q: Hi,
What is your opinion of NYX's press release today outlining a new commercial agreement with Scientific Games which essentially stymies what William Hill is trying to protect with it's conversion to common shares (US sports betting software control).
The one loophole still remaining for William Hill to defend it's US turf at this point seems to be clause ii) - (ii) by either Scientific Games or NYX if the arrangement agreement dated September 20, 2017 in respect of the Acquisition (the "Arrangement Agreement") is terminated in connection with NYX entering into a superior proposal or the board of NYX making a change in recommendation and in either case the superior proposal is consummated.
What is your outlook given this new information? Does it now seem more likely that the pressure is mounting for William Hill to either make a higher bid or accept the offer?

Q: Hi there, thank you for the quick response to my question. Quick follow up, could this be a great opportunity to buy more for a quick trade, if SC/NYX settle with WH in next two days? What down side risks do you see for share price here for a quick trade? Thanks!
Q: HI,
Maybe my math in not accurate but if WH pays 3.67$ for 40.7M shares, this would result in about 150M cash (or about 1$ / share). if this is wright, would not this be positive for the share price? or my math is wrong?

Q: Hi there, can you please provide further clarification to your response on NYX today. Why would William Hill want to block the take over? Would it not just hurt their holding in NYX? Unless they want to hold out for more cash for their preferred shares then what the take over offer is for? Would that not push the share price possibly higher, not lower, on speculation for a higher bid from Scientific? Somewhat confused here with the share price reaction. Can you tell if William Hill has increased their holding in NYX recently for a possible move on NYX themselves, shaking out weak holders today with this move? Thanks!
PS: the new site upgrades looks great!

Q: Why the adverse market reaction to NYX today?
Q: Hi 5i team - Am just wondering if there is any advantage in waiting to tender to the offer or simply selling my shares on the open market, other than saving the $10.00 commission fee. Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i team, Sean asked a question about NYX earlier, and you suggested he "tender the offer". I too own NYX, and I'm new at having a holding bought out. Could you explain what "tender the offer" means, and if there is anything I would have to do on my end? I'm with RBC Direct Investing. Thanks!
Q: Hello,
With the recent take over of NYX i am not sure what to do with the money. Should i tender the deal with SGMS? Or deploy the cash else where? I currently own JPJ.L in the gaming industry. Could you recommend a few stocks that you would purchase? I was thinking SIS.TO. Thank you

Q: I'm up about 45% on NYX and thinking of selling now rather than waiting for the deal to close for the sake of an additional 2% or so. I previously owned GUD but sold at a modest profit near $10 (I was one of those bored investors). Thinking of re-buying GUD for a long term hold and would be interested in your view or other best options to deploy the NYX proceeds. My fallback would be simply to top up a few core holdings: TD, T, FTS, SLF.
Q: Buy, sell or hold based on takeover? thanks, Austin

Q: Hi guys,
I asked this question about a year and a half ago but I will ask it again, is it time to let it go of NYX and find something else? I was originally thinking of keeping it for a long time but am having second thoughts.
Thanks so much

Q: Your take on the latest quarter would be appreciated as the loss seemed
to be largely due to non-cash items

Q: Could I have your thoughts on Q2 and YTD earnings. I'm slightly underwater on a small position and am inclined to hold or even add a bit.
