Q: Hello Peter,
Any idea why these stocks:Pacific Insight, Fairfax, Knight, and Stella Jones have been declining of late, especially Pacific Insight. It has been hit very hard after their earnings. Is it a good time to pick up these 4 companies given the current decline? Thanks very much.Umed

Q: In a question ask by Victor on Sept 19 you characterized PIH's quarterly results as "mildly disappointing" and that "we did do think earnings were so bad, but it is not a name to own for 3 months". Now in a question asked by Klaus yesterday your response is that PIH "is the only one we would see of any real concern due to very big disappointment in its last quarter". Why has your view changed of their recent results changed?
Thanks.

Q: I understand that these 4 stocks are considered growth stocks. Presently I am negative on all four. Is patience required ( long term ?) or would you suggest to switch to other growth stocks and which ones would you recommend. Thanks.
Klaus

Q: I am resubmitting this question as apparently the symbols did not show up with my first question. Can you please comment on these stocks as to suitability for a GROWTH portfolio and if you have any concerns over any of these. Are there any substitutions you would make to this list? Thank you.

Q: I just got off a wild ride with D BOX and am now looking for something not as wild. Things that show up on my watch list are CTH (Cynapus), EFL and PHI (Pacific). Could you please give me a brief opinion. On another note, I get notified of US stocks I have had where they want me to get involved in a class action suit. I did this with Synoforest and it took a massive amount of time and all kinds of information and after years I got less than 1% of what I lost. Is this common practice with these class action suits? Q: I bought PIH on momentum a couple of days ago at what appears to have been the worst possible time. The recent price action is a little puzzling, although I know it's not uncommon for a small cap up massively to experience some volatility. To keep the faith I am trying to look for as many signals as are available. One thing I am interested in in particular is insider trading data. Do you see any recent insider trading happening at PIH? Additionally, in general I am wondering how frequently insider trading data is required to be published and what are the best places to find it. Thanks for everything.

Q: A recent questioner addressed the issue of identifying high growth and high momentum stocks at attractive valuations that remain under the radar but have the potential to become investor and fund manager "favorites".

I am wondering if PIH could be such a stock. With increasing share price and trade volume appreciation, and rising growth in revenues/earnings, but attractive valuation (around 11 trailing P/E), am I wrong in thinking this one could start to gain increasing attention? Does it make sense to average up on a stock like this as I have been doing over the past couple weeks (the full position would be quite a small fraction of my overall portfolio)?

Q: Hi Peter,

Much enjoyed your segment on BNN.

I bought some PIH shares a few days ago and was delighted with the bump on very positive earnings report two days ago. The only issue I had with this stock is that it does not have much liquidity. With a good balance sheet, great earnings and an excellent market niche going forward, is it likely to get more attention from analysts and greater liquidity? Also, are you considering it for the 5i growth portfolio?
