Q: Hello 5i, could you please rank these companies for my higher risk growth portfolio in terms of risk/return potential?

Q: Your preference between Intertape Polynmer (ITP) and ZCL Composites (ZCL).

Consensus eps estimates has ITP earning $1.16 in 2017 and $1.23 in 2018. Not all that inspiring but the business seems stable enough and its in a sector where, I think, if the US economy picks up I can envision the company beating those eps estimates.

ZCL is cheaper using 2017 eps estimates for comparative purposes and seems to have a little better growth going forward. However with ZCL their business seems a little more difficult to predict.

Your opinions are appreciated.

Q: I was thinking of buying these three stocks for my wife's portfolio (non-registered) - each would be a small position vs the overall size of her portfolio & represent diversification from the big blue chips she owns that pay & increase dividends on a regular basis. As well, they represent industries she currently is not in. All rated a B - so, wonder about risk? Long -term holds.

Q: Starting a TFSA and have narrowed down a larger list of 10-12 stocks to these four. Still doing research on each of these, but I was wondering if you thought this was a good mix for a TFSA, while adding different sectors as the years progress.

Q: Since Trump's victory markets have reached new highs including the financials on both sides of the border.Note that 5I has been relatively quiet.Yet many stocks including the aforementioned but not limited to,have fallen quite a lot(some more than others.The primary reason could be rotation to other sectors.If co. specific,please advise.Please advise if it is time to start buying them,& if possible list them according to your preference.Appreciate your usual great advices & services

Q: Hello Peter, you've recently answered some questions as to current investment options for growth-oriented TFSAs, including the above companies. My TFSA has funds to permit three "growthy but not OVERLY risky" new investments. Whether from among the above choices or not, can you , considering the recent changes in market prices, please suggest your top 3 current choices to add to a TFSA (on top of my fairly balanced overall portfolio). Q: I noticed that ZCL price fell from 11.50 to 11 late yesterday afternoon on a large trade volume just a couple of hours before the quarterly report was released. Seems a bit fishy.Is it possible that there was some "leakage" of information. Is this something that securities commission would look into, or is it just too small for them to bother?
It is now down some more to 10.75.
On a related matter, what is your opinion of the quarterly results and the resultant drop in share price - is it overblown? Is it a buying opportunity?
