Q: This morning RBC Direct Investing downgraded DR to sector perform which I assume contributed to the 4% price decline observed today. RBC noted the increased competition from Avera Health which is proposing to build a health complex in N.Dakota which is expected to compete in part with Medical Facilities for new patients. Considering that DR makes up nearly 5% of my income-oriented portfolio, do you recommend a reduction at this time in DR stock or is it better to wait to see what the impact really is and how DR responds?

Q: Can you please help me prioritize these stocks I'm considering for my income account. I understand that some are higher risk. Thanks.
Q: Could you provide an updated opinion on DR based on their latest quarterly results. The latest quarter appear to be very good with the dividend payout ratio dropping below 50%.
I am thinking of initiating an initial position in this company for a combination of nice income (over a 5% yield) and hopefully a little growth in the share price over time. How does future growth in their business look?
Your thoughts as always would be greatly appreciated.

Q: Hello Peter and gang.
I read your year end review and suggestions about investing in healthcare as a theme for 2017. I'm very much an income oriented investor. I'm interested in Medical Facilities Corp. Would you say this company falls under the category of healthcare? Also what's your overall view of this company.
Thanks
Nicholas

Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
On December 16th, RBC Capital confirmed their Outperform rating with a $24.00 12 month Target Price. Can I get your opinion of this company, especially given its recent pullback and its nice dividend.
Thanks
Dave

Q: I'm 78 and interested in income with security of capital and I'm wondering about changing the percentage allocation of various sectors. For example, rather than hold 5% in each of healthcare, materials and energy, I'm considering holding 15% in healthcare. NWH.un, SIA, DR and SIS are broadly diversified within the sector, provide an excellent average income and have been generally approved by 5i. What do you think, and feel free to make suggestions.
Thanks for all the steady, interesting and profitable suggestions daily.

Q: Dr is seriously ailing. What's the prognosis please?
Q: Any comments on these companies in general and are you aware of any reason for recent decline in DR stock price? Thank you
Q: EIF made a small gain yesterday, fell 5%, and is in the red today. DR fell from being 27% in the green 2 days ago to 18% today. Can you tell me what happened to these two? Is it time to dump EIF? Should I take the profit in DR before it falls further? - Thanks, Ted
Q: I have a 3.5% position in DR. It pays a 6.25% div, monthly, and has grown over 19% since I purchased it the end of April. There was a comment on BNN this morning and the opinion was that it is very susceptible to changes in US Medicare regs. Could I please have your opinion on the safety of the stock? Thanks, Ted
Q: Maybe a typo but, my earlier question was comparison to SIA not SIS (Savaria) which I already hold.
Thanks

Q: I recently bought a half position each in DR & SIA. After the Q1 reports released by both, I am considering selling DR and going to full position in SIA. Your thoughts please.
