Q: In reviewing 5i growth portfolio, I noticed XTC, PLI and RRX are down somewhat from the initial start price. Would you still recommend these companies and what are your general thoughts on their growth prospects? I am thinking of adding them to my RSP account with a 3-5 year time horizon.

Thanks

Q: I keep these three stocks mostly for the dividend (also valuation for XTC), but I also expect stock growth and/or dividend growth. Timeframe up to 5 years. Would you consider theses stocks still interesting for my purpose? In each case, is the dividend safe? Thanks!

Q: Hi team, I have owned all of the growth portfolio since the beginning and I would like your opinion on those three companies mentioned. As you know I am down significantly. Do I sell ,hold or possibly switch ? I have about 4or 5 stocks that I started to build from the balanced portfolio.
Thank you!

Q: In a national post article, you mentioned that this could be the year of takeovers. I know you don't have a crystal ball but what stocks do you think could be attractive to a bigger player, e.g. the acquisition of Pure by Xlem. I note that Celestica appears real cheap but doesn't move. Perhaps someone might decide to come and buy this baby. Thanks.

Q: I'm thinking of moving on here and an wondering what you might replace it with at today's prices. I also own MG and have done very well so don't need to stay in the auto parts industry. I'm a little light on industrials and materials so either sector would be fine. Thanks again for your valuable service!

Q: With XTC's growth slowing down and NFI's pullback, I am thinking of selling XTC and buying the equivalent value ( 4% of a balanced portfolio ) of NFI. I have a gain of 60% having owned XTC for 5 years. I am interested in dividend growth and stability in the business.
What are your thoughts about the prospects of these two companies 5 years out?
Thanks!
Rob

Q: Do you still think xtc.to is an undervalued stock? Underwater by 40% so would this be a good stock for a tax loss? It has a horrific chart for the last two and half years.

EPS .18 for this quarter represents a p/e of 13.6 which is a premium to mg.to mre.to and lnr.to. Are you still
Confident in this company or move on to else. It has been a serious underperformer in the sector.

Last 1 year
MRE.TO + 100%
LNR.TO +33%
MG.TO +30%
XTC.TO -4.5%

Q: Hello Peter,
I am very fortunate to have recently received an inheritance and am considering the following as inclusion into a TFSA. (SIS) Savaria, (SYZ) Sylogist, (ZCL) ZCL Composites, and (XTC) Exco Technologies.
I would appreciate any feedback you could offer regarding these considerations.
Thank you,
Rick

Q: I have held these loss stocks in my well-diversified portfolio for many years. I am willing to wait for a turnaround and do not need the cash. Which if any would you recommend selling now if you consider holding them to be a lost cause. Thank you

Q: Hello Peter and team,
My portfolio now closely mirrors the BE Portfolio only missing NFI. I have cash for two full positions.
XTC’s valuation seems interesting and it has gained traction recently. Would it be time to initiate a position or wait and see how the NAFTA negotiations evolve?
Thank you, Ronald
