Q: I am considering GSY as a growth holding to augment my dividend growth heavy portfolio. I keep hearing that valuation matters. Is GSY today at a good entry price for a 3% slot in my portfolio?

Could you please recommend a few 'set and forget' high growth stocks which would be a good fit for a RESP for the next 15-ish years?

Q: Can you share your top 3 Canadian and US growth picks over the next 5yr timeframe?
Q: Hi 5i,
I'm lucky yo be up 100% in KEY over the past little more than a year in a registered account and based on my buy in price I receive a healthy 12% annual dividend. Although I know it can be thought of as a utility I realize KEY is more properly classed as an Energy stock and I also hold significant weight in ENB and TOU, so paring down Utility/Energy weight would be OK. I'm wondering if KEY's future growth and dividend prospects are strong enough that I ought to just hold on to all of this (so far) very good thing, or if it might be both prudent and rewarding to sell 1/2 and buy into GSY with the proceeds. I hold both CM and BNS but in reasonable weights and mainly for dividend growth, and I wonder if looking for some torque from GSY with the profit I've made in KEY makes sense.
I'd sure appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
Peter

Q: Hi 5I
We all know the importance of well managed companies and how it plays into long term success.
CSU has been one of the companies that has displayed a gold standard to this success.
In your professional opinions which other 5 companies show best management qualities for success for the long term? Regardless of sector. I'm not sure if you will be able to answer this question but thought it would be interesting even if some of the evidence is anecdotal.
Thanks
Cal

Q: Hi Team,
Three part question. Firstly, I know as professionals you do not recommend “winners” climbing to over a certain % of ones Portfolio. However, if early investors in Apple or shopify for example would of bailed ; some would not be millionaires now. Or in some cases , billionaires where the CEO’s are holding most their wealth in their company stock. How can one hope to land that “life changing trade”(1000% or more) if one keeps trimming eternal winners ? Does it not make sense if a person finds that “winning company” to keep holding of goals are set high?
Secondly..is GSY one of those stocks, if you were to choose the likelihood of a solid company with good prospects, to choose to be overweight in and aim for that life changing 1000% move over a 10 yr or so period? I ask this company specifically because I am overweight this company and this is my goal. (Up over 200% so far and metrics still make this stock look cheap to me)
Thirdly… if you were to speculate a few different companies, either US or Cnd as your “best guess’s” so to speak of having the likelihood of producing 1000% gains over the next 10yrs or so; what would they be? Thanks for your input and deduct credits as you see fit. Thanks
Shane

Q: Hello. I continue to see positive comments from 5i about growth potential for GSY. I would like to add it my financial sector but that would require selling one of my current financial stocks in order to maintain the assigned weight. Of the stocks listed can you put in order the stocks you might sell to a\quire GSY. Alternatively, does it make sense to keep the current stocks, which are all doing well and for the most part paying dividends and just add GSY, changing the weightng of the portfolio?

Q: Thank you for providing such an unparalleled service. Your cost increases are minimal.
My question is about diversification in my RRSP which consists of mostly high quality growth stocks (GOOGL, VISA, NIKE, ACN, NVIDIA, etc.) I am however, under-represented in Canadian stocks which include BAM, SHOPIFY, IFC, FSV, & BIP.UN. My goal is to build up my Canadian portfolio in this RSP.
I am well represented in Tech, Consumers, disc, & health care with my US holdings. Can you recommend 10 Canadian stocks that I could add for the long term to balance out my portfolio? I am deficient in financial, materials & industrials. Or to apply the Occam's razor, should I just buy and accumulate XIC over time.
Many thanks

Q: I bought a small position in Goeasy at $63, and never did find the funds to top it up until now. I am up 150%, but could still add to it without going overweight. What are your thoughts on adding to it at this price with a long-term outlook? Is it still buyable?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Q: As a 20 year-old, can you suggest 6 high risk/high reward Canadian or US stocks for part of my investments (I would look to buy on dips)? Would you recommend a portion invested in cryptocurrencies or is this just really gambling with the high volatility? I have a 5-year time line.
Thank you!!

For US, please also provide three names that are growth oriented, and three reflationary driven. All are for long term investment.
Thanks,

Q: Hi guys, thanks for the excellent service. Generally TFSA is the place for high growth but my highest growth has been in my RRSP. Is there any compelling reason I should sell anything in RRSP and rebuy in TFSA (e.g., NVDA)? I realize I will be taxed on RRSP withdrawals while TFSA withdrawals are tax-free - but - my RRSP has a lot more cash than my TFSA so there isn't room to move all my growthy stuff over. Because of the relative size of RRSP to TFSA, if I were to do equal weighting of all stocks, I'd only have 4 different stocks in my TFSA, which perhaps is fine?
