Q: AW.UN trading at/close 52 week high, do you feel it's a fair valuation at this level, or should I wait for a pullback?

Q: Please provide your comments on A&W's quarterly earnings. Thank you.
Q: Good Morning Guys,
I'm looking to add to my AW.un here at $34.61 however, I have read you recent comments on this company and you suggest it is still a buy up to $33.50? Are you suggesting it's to high now to add more?
Thank-you.

Q: Hi Could you comment on the high volume and haircut AW took this past Fri .
I cant find any news but was wondering if the recent discussions on the tax treatment was causing a sell off or just profit taking as the stock has had a great run
Kind Regards
Stan

Q: I'm not aware of the nature of the A&W distribution, but a non-eligible dividend is not taxed the same as interest as indicated in the Q&A earlier today. The following link will provide the precise tax rates for Ontario (other provinces also available on that website) at different levels of income:
http://www.taxtips.ca/taxrates/on.htm

Q: I just noticed that the distribution for this fund is considered as a "non-eligible" dividend because the payments come from A&W Trade Marks. I think this means it does not receive the more favourable dividend tax treatment. So, is it taxed more like interest (i.e. at the highest rate) or is there still some benefit from it being a dividend?
Appreciate your insight.

Thank you as always

Q: I am retired and have several dividend stocks. I'm a recent member to 5i research and am looking at adding AW.UN and ECI from your income portfolio. They have increased in price since you put them in the portfolio. Is it still advisable to purchase them at the current price or could you suggest a maximum price point for purchase? I plan to hold them for a few years.
Q: I'm interested in AW.UN but noticed it is at its 52 week high. Should I wait for a pull back or is it a buy at today's price? Also, do you consider it a dividend growth stock?
Would you prefer Boston Pizza as it has a higher dividend?

Q: I am trying to decide on one of three stocks for income and a bit of growth. How would you rank Boston Pizza (bpf.un), A & W (aw.un), and Pizza, Pizza (pza)?
Q: May I have your comments on AW.UN's Q1 results. Thanks.
Q: Would appreciate your input on AW.UN as an addition to The income part of my portfolio. Good divi and seems pretty solid for a 1 - 5yr keep. It is close to its all time high tho. Do you think it is running out of steam?
