Q: What are some of your favourite founder led growth companies that you would be comfortable investing in today (US and CAN)? I just finished the Motley Fool Investment Guide by David and Tom Gardner, and they are big on that component. Would you generally agree with them?
Thanks
Marc

Q: Twitter launching a new service with a subscription fee. Any thoughts on Twitter blue and would you buy the news? I had Twitter and sold it around the 69$ mark. To give me an idea, could you please rank these in terms of a buy as of today: Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Snapchat, Netflix. 5+ Yr hold, Registered account.

Q: Friday messy fun question, please take it lightly. I would like to start reducing the oil companies I bought in April last year. They've done incredibly well, but now I would like to increase my tech growth stocks by opening 1 or 2 new positions. I currently own GOOG, DND, U, CRWD, RDFN, ROKU, VEEV, PINS, and SQ. They have done well under your recommendations even with the recent pullbacks. As no one can time the markets, I am not willing to wait for a surprise interest hike as it is part of a locked-in RSP. It would be a 10+ hold. 1) Without considering size, could you please rank your favourite top 5 companies addressed in this question as of today in terms of strong balance sheet & steady growth potential over time (even in an interest hike environment). 2) Could you please give a brief explanation for the #1 pick only. Thank you very much as always!

Q: I'm down ~15-20% on these names and contemplating a tax loss swap.
For each of these, do you think there are suitable proxies or are they are hard to replace?
For FLNT in particular, I'm considering dumping it all together, so a similarly battered small-cap name you think will perform better will work as well.
Finally, when it comes to tax-loss selling, do you have a rule of thumb on the % down a name should be before it makes sense, or it's generally situation dependant?

Q: In less then a month I am up 50% on Twitter. As a result Twitter is now 5% of my portfolio. Similar story with AT.TO, up 90% and just over 5% of the portfolio. I am thinking of trimming Twitter (25%)and significantly trimming AT (50%) before q results. Money to be used for ICHR, what weighing would you start with or is it better to go with SOXX at 5%? I believe I need a position in this sector given current/future demand.

Don't you think AC stock is getting ahead of the reality and air canada path back to business will not be as smooth as the stock is indicating? Or are the investors looking 2 years ahead and are willing to discount any turbulence? Is that the strategy here?

Q: Hello Team,

TWTR stock came down 5.5% from Wednesday to Friday and is now down another 3.77% after hours following the announcement that Trump was permanently kicked out of TWTR space, an action also implemented by many other social media companies, even PINS. I know Twitter will survive without Trump but how about its stock!?

Do you think the drop is a knee-jerk reaction and the stock will recover in a short order? or do you think the stock will continue to languish not because he is gone, but because TWTR cannot monetize its millions of users looking for the latest news/events in political arena, a generally depressing space at the best of times. Trump at least had made this space a bit more lively/interesting.

I have been waiting very patiently for a vey long time on this stock to finally move and now this. I want to hold as I think the company is ready for live sport and ad revenues from it, but I wonder if this elusive goal is worth the opportunity cost.

I know you like TWTR so what would you do? I know your most likely answer is "nothing," but could you tell me if nothing really has changed and the future is bright for TWTR with or without Trump.

Thank you as always!

Q: Good morning to the best investing guys ever.
I'm interested in the above. PINS , SNAP are soaring this morning. Which is your fav? OR are there others in the space you prefer? Should I wait and watch before I hit the buy button?
Thanks for keeping me on track and doing well for 6 and a half years.

Q: What do you think of Twitter? The platform, for better or worse, has become one of the main ways in which people get their news. Trump can't seem to leave the app despite publicly criticizing it and its founder. Despite this, the stock hasn't exploded in price like other social media platforms e.g. Facebook. I assume this is because a lack of profitability. What do you think of the long term prospects? Good buy for exposure into social media and technology? Bad idea if you already have a lot in Facebook?

Q: I've held Facebook for 3 years and it has been a rollercoaster. It's a company that everyone loves to hate, and I am thinking of taking my profits and investing elsewhere. What would be a replacement stock in a similar area?

Q: Hi!

I believe 5i has correctly stated in the past that in a recovery the bigger, stronger names will bounce earlier and more powerfully than smaller and perhaps more speculative names. Companies like TTD and TEAM have either bounced or held up better than names like RUBI or YEXT which fits your comments. SHOP vs LSPD in Canada would be another example. My question is not about these names specifically but if you could please list 4-5 names in the USA space that are well capitalized (can survive) and undervalued (haven't bounced like you might have thought yet). I am not looking for value stocks but growth themed stocks that have been unfairly punished or neglected in the recovery.
Thanks so much!
