Q: I am pleasantly surprised at SQ performance. Visa is one of the most steady stock and have done well for me . I am considering trimming the gains of V to initate a half position on SQ. Would you consider this a reasonable move

Q: I have an a US "balanced" portfolio that holds V (and also BAC) , you suggested in an earlier answer to another person that for diversification, might take a position in SQ. If both V and SQ were held, what weightings would you consider giving V and SQ, and also BAC, like 5, 4, 3 or 2 %, within the Financial sector portion of the portfolio as a whole?.....thanks....Tom

Q: Hi Group thanks for your guidance - I continue to get nervous about the performance of Financials (both in Canada and US) Pypl + Sq + V.are off 3-4% this am - what happening there?. Banks in both Canada and US are struggling I would have expected(with all the good earnings / Good growth overall especially in the US that Financials would lead the market higher but something else at work here what's you take on the poor performance of the sector in general PS do you recommend taking profits in the Financial sector in general.$- thanks for you guidance on this

Q: Thanks to good advice from 5i, my tech stocks have done well enough to make up close to 40% of my holdings! Within the sector, these are my waitings:
CSU - 12%, KXS - 12%, SHOP - 11%, CLS - 5%, GOOGL - 9%, SQ - 11 %, AAPL - 10 %, NVDA - 9%, AMZN - 15%, and SPOT - 6%.
Some of these are broadly spaced within the sector, and I hate to let any of them go, but I’m getting a bit nervous about vulnerability to a general tech turndown. Do you have suggestions for me?

Q: I currently own Visa and have done well. I like all of the payment processors. Should I stick with Visa, or take some profits and diversify into another processor? I am considering Mastercard, Square or Paypal.
Q: Without knowing details of my portfolio, would you recommend selling some SQ at a profit and buying some BOX today?
Thanks, cathy

Q: I have some extra cash to invest and am interested in adding either TEAM, SQUARE or BOX to a well rounded portfolio. With a relatively high risk tolerance, which of these do you see as having a greater upside over a short and long time frame?
Q: I would love to buy Grubhub, Square and Salesforce to add to the FANGs that I bought a year ago at then "stratospheric" prices. Do you think these three are too expensive or in for similar one year gains? Please rank and comment. Thank you.
Q: Last year an airline in Europe gave us a Wirecard for taking a later flight . We used it for shopping and restaurants and then cashed in the balance for Euros at an ATM . Great concept that has grown incredibly according to Handelsblatt . Is there an ADR or even an OTC listing for this ? Is there a similar card in North America ?
Thanks

Q: My wife and I are looking for growth and have a high tolerance for risk in our TFSA accounts. We have full positions in SHOP, TSGI, KXS, GSY, SIS, PHO, PBH, COV and half positions in RHT, WCP, GC and GUD. These will remain long term holds as long as there’s no material change in any company. We’re considering CSU and TOY. Could you comment on purchasing these at today’s prices and indicate potential future headwinds (China dispute on TOY). As a second question do you have any other suggestions that look particularly interesting to you today? Thanks for your incredibly valuable service.

Q: Hi !
I invest mostly in growth stocks but with 28% of my portfolio in tech, I may be overloaded in this sector. My present holdings are: CSU (2.7%) PHO (2.5%) KXS (3.2%) SHOP (3.5%) ADBE (3.1%) FB (2.7%) GOOG (2.6%) MU (1.8%) NVDA (2.2%) SQ (3.%). If I were to reduce the number of holdings as well as my tech %, on which stocks would you suggest to concentrate, identifying those with most growth potential and those more risky ? Are there any other stocks better suited to my goal ? Or should I stay the course here ?
Thank you for your good attention,
JD
