Q: All these CAD stocks have been severely hurt today, do you know the reasons why? True that some have had worst than expected earnings releases but it looks like there has been a wholesale seller out there

Q: Bought BAD a few months back as a recovery play and have done ok however recent results cause me to question the growth prospects. Should I continue to hold or sell and add to my existing positions in SIS, NFI, QSR and MG. All good recovery plays in my opinion.
Thanks

Q: Similar question to the one I asked yesterday. This is regarding some small/medium sized consumer and consumer-related type Canadian stocks. How would you feel about holding each of these stocks in your portfolio, on a 1-10 scale, with a 10 being you definitely want the stock in your portfolio, a 1 being a stock you want no part of, and a 5 being a stock you are basically indifferent about. As part of broadly diversified portfolio, looking for total return over the next 5+ years, comfortable with risk. ACQ, AW.UN, DOO, ECN, GOOS, HTL, LNF, MTY, SIS, SVI, ZZZ.

Q: I've portioned off a smaller amount of my portfolio into a separate unregistered account, reserved for growth names. Currently holding GRN, KRR, PRN, QST, STC, WELL. I have cash for 4 more names, will hold for up to 6 years. I was thinking about SIS. XBC is already held in my TFSA. Can you please suggest 4 growth names to consider that would complement the existing holdings? Thanks.

Q: For New money to initiate positions which 5 stocks in each of the portfolios would you recommend investing. On a related note, is there a reason you don’t put buy or hold or buy up to prices in any of the portfolios, or is your stance if it is in there it is a buy regardless of how much a stock may have run up since it was originally recommended.

Q: I have purchased your Portfolio Analytics tool - so far so good. For my RRSP, I need to increase stock holdings from 2% (average) to 5%. This will assist me to better align my industry allocation while increasing my average stock percentage . Do you feel its a good time/right stocks to bring to a 5% holding - PBH, WSP, WELL and SIS? All are currently at approx. 2% and I have a 17 year investment horizon. If you feel WELL is too much risk can you suggest another health stock?

Q: Hello
If you had to chose between SIS and GDI to hold for the next three years, which would you prefer. They are close in market cap but SIS pays a monthly dividend and appears to be making a comeback. I currently hold GDI but am leaning toward switching back to SIS
Thanks for your great service

Q: Hi,
I'm finally just back above water on SIS with its recent highs. Typically, once I've ridden a stock to the low lows without selling and it comes back up, I sell once I break even - and consider myself lucky. But I know that's really the right move - it's the emotional move.

My ACB is $17 bucks. Do I keep my finger away from the sell button and hold on for more upside?

Thanks,
Robert

Q: 5i has stated in the past that the above companies have no debt (LNF "very little debt") - is that still the case? If possible, can you please name 5 additional good CAN and 5 US companies that have no debt or very little?
Thanks!
