Q: Just for my understanding, what is it about SHOP that makes it so appealing? Looking at their financials, their costs have ramped up almost as much as their revenue. Revenue has grown 1600% over 5 years but they still haven't turned a profit. With revenues approaching 1 Billion, in order to achieve a reasonable P/E of say 25 based on today's price, they would need to increase earnings from a loss of 0.53 per share , to a profit of 8.00 (based on FY17), which represents revenue of 743B! I know the math isn't precise, but I think it illustrates my point.

Q: Hello 5i
In yesterday’s Q&A you replied to a question from Glen that one of your important considerations when assessing a company was “strong management”. I couldn’t agree with you more. Would you consider adding a management rating to the “report card” section of your company reports?
And on that note would you supply 6 companies that have admirable management and board teams.
Many thanks

Q: I am largely an extremely long term buy and hold investor. With respect to tech stocks over the next three decades I see the usual suspects alphabet, amazon, facebook and apple as fairly certain bets over that time frame notwithstanding potential government intervention causing breakups. That said, what other US tech companies would you feel have similar potential staying power for the extremely long term aside from Cognex ? Which 4-5 others would you select ?
I continue to spread the good word about this site. You do solid work.

Q: Hi Peter
Do you think it is time to buy back ENB.
What is your outlook for SHOP. I am thinking of adding to my position.
I don't have any health stock at the moment, do you have any suggestions?
Thanks

Q: Do you think that the significant increase in SHOP on Tuesday was due in whole or in part to AMZN's release of its international shopping app? I own both companies so if this is the case, are SHOP's fortunes so tied to those of AMZN so as to present significant concentration risk?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Hello team,

I understand that all technology stocks are down but SHOP continues to lose more than everybody else. Can sentiment change so much? or is there something fundamentally wrong?

The stock has gone down from $202 to $144 in less than a month, would you sell, buy, or hold?

Thanks for sharing your insights and have a wonderful week!

Q: Hello Peter,
On your april 9th reply to QSR, the dividend that was indicated was above 3 percent; I am seeing a dividend of 1.9 percent on google. Any idea? Also, I am planning to keep QSR , GUD, SIS, ADW.A, Shop, and Spot as long term holds. Any concerns here? My weights range from 2 to 4 percent. Lastly, I I know you have had lots of questions on Knight, but from a shareholders perspective, are we not waiting along time to get some results that are meaningful to increase stock price? What are the analysts saying about Knight as I am sure their clients are not happy with the stock price. Thanks again for the great input.

Q: Good afternoon:
From an income investor's point of view, could you provide recommendations of your favorite 7 to 10 companies each of which have little to no debt?
As a second question, could you also provide your top 3 to 5 growth company names, again with little or no debt.
Thank you
Ian
