Q: Can you suggest me 10 Growth stocks in Canada/US. Time horizon is 10-15 years. Investment style is BUY AND FORGET.

Q: Good afternoon,

The technology portion of my portfolio has grown too large (about 37%) and I知 trying to figure out how to get it back to about 25%? My issue is that I知 interested in too many tech options (I.e., the ones that I own plus others I壇 like to buy). I知 looking for suggestions on which I should sell, add to or replace by buying a better option. Some were initiated with half positions that went down and some full positions grew so the proportions all over the place. I have a long time horizon and many are held in a registered account (except SHOP and NVDA). I own: KXS (3.5%), CSU (3.8%), SHOP (2.7%), PHO (<1%), ZS (3.3%), TEAM (1%), NVDA (6.1%), AAPL (11%), MSFT (4.6%) and I知 interested in buying REAL, DOCU and GOOG. I壇 like to own what are viewed as solid tech companies for future innovation and growth and I知 willing to add, remove or replace any of these companies.

I also need to add materials and REITs to my portfolio since I currently have no holdings in these. I値l use my tech trimmings to add to these sectors. Suggestions of top companies for these two sectors would also be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for all the great work and suggestions you provide,
Lisa

Q: For the above technology companies there has been a huge pullback even though some have beaten nicely on earnings. Is this a buying opportunity for them or wait and see where the NASDAQ settles out before putting new money in. What is the reason for the pullback. Typical profit taking before Labour Day? Of the above Can you rank which you would put new money into first?

Q: I think we were due for today's pullback. What are your favourite names to add to here for a long term hold?

Q: This question is about diversification and percentage of stocks vs ETFs. In my overall portfolio (combined tfsa, rrsp, and non-registered), I have roughly 37% VFV/ZSP, and the rest fairly equally weighted across ENB, KXS, SHOP, VGH, AQN, BEP.UN/C, BIP.UN/C, BNS, CPX, GDI, NVDA, RY, TEAM, VGG, TRP, BAM.A. I'm in my mid 30s and have a long time frame, but would prefer to position for short term performance as much as possible. So, with some cash to allocate, can you please recommend a couple US and CAN stocks to add to this mix (or recommend just adding to what I hold)? Also, given your recent market update on covid vs sector performance, what would you do with the VFV/ZSP allocation? I am open to moving that allocation to stocks instead of an ETF, and am wondering if I should take that path, and how best to position there given the big tech names/top holdings in the ETFs, vs some holdings across sectors that are currently down. Thanks!

Q: What's wrong with Canadian tech these days? ZQQ is up 12.61% this month, as tech stocks soar. But in Canada, you would have been much better off owning a plodding insurance company like Sun Life or a bank than Kinaxis, Constellation Software, Open Text, Enghouse, CGI, Shopify or Sylogist.

Q: Looking to add BAM.A and SHOP to the porffolio, which would you add first for a youngish investor in a TFSA? Is BAM.A going to be in the dog house for years to come? Does SHOP still have a long runway or have new investors largely missed the boat? Should one wait for a pull back on SHOP before stepping in? Also, considering the added cost of currency conversion, is there any reason to choose QQQ over HXS for in a TFSA? HXS is smaller, but is that much of an issue for retail investors? Please deduct credits as you see fit.
Thanks

Q: These seem to be some of your favorite Canadian growth names - very different in terms of sectors, vol and size, however can you please rank them in terms of growth outlook for next 3-4 years to add some torque to a portfolio.
Thank you

Q: Up some 30% on LSPD in my TFSA. Considering selling and replacing with either REAL, KXS. or SHOP. Would you hold the course with LSPD? If not, which of the three would you replace it with? Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i Team - Just wondering if you could give me your opinion on whether Lightspeed might be in a similar growth position that Shopify was a few years ago. I am not asking for a firm prediction here, just a general idea. Also what are the similarities and differences to Shopify's business structure.
Since this is my third question in the last two days and it is still the holiday weekend please feel free to take your time in responding - no rush.
I hope everyone had a good long weekend!
Cheers.

Q: Hi 5i Team - I have held Shopify in two accounts for several years now and although I have sold much of it over the past couple of years at a substantial profit (thanks to your advice) there is still some left which it seems becomes more significant each passing month. I find myself, however, unable to describe it's business with any degree of confidence to other people. Could you provide me with a simple description of exactly what it does in plain terns that I could relate to others.
Who are Shopify's customers and clients - do these terms mean the same thing - and how many are there. Do they have other relationships with large corporations beside Amazon and what exactly is that relationship with Amazon. I feel I should have an understanding of all of this but it very limited.
Thank you.
