Q: Hi guys,
I hold one ETF and a mix of equities (selected from your portfolios) in my TFSA, with the following weightings:
COV 5.48
CSU 6.70
GSY 5.42
KXS 4.93
PBH 4.26
PHO 4.50
SHOP 7.57
SIS 6.59
TOY 6.05
TSGI 5.63
VUN 30.35
WEED 12.51
Everything is up from initial purchase (many thanks) but some have grown much faster than others. I am considering rebalancing and/or adding a new position. Is there a notable position that you would add/remove (e.g, VUN in exchange for equities)? I have VXC and VCN in my RRSP so maybe VUN is better located in there.
Thanks for the amazing service and knowledge base that 5i provides.

Q: Hi Peter,
I have extracted part of your reply to the question on Cronos , "The cross-border issue is one problem. It is hard to take action in other countries". I know you cannot guess or speculate, but can you shed light on why the short sellers have not been after Canopy or Tilray that have extreme valuations yet Citron was keen on issuing reports on companies like Shopify. I would appreciate you insights. Thank you.

Q: Can I get your current marijuana picks (one larger cap, one mid cap, and one smaller cap), with the criteria being eps growth, revenue growth, and balance sheet strength?

I started doing a little work on Organigram and unless I am mistaken, it looks like it has a forward p/e of 40 (eps numbers obtained from Thompson Reuters), low debt and a relatively small number of shares compared to its peers. These numbers dont look too shabby to me, against the backdrop of its higher valuation peers. Is there anything specifically in OGI's profile that could pose challenges in the future?

Thanks.

John

Q: I admit that I have not read many investment reports on this company and Constellation Brands has their reasons for their recent purchase . Given that, I suggest that by any metric/measure/ fundamental analysis these shares are way overpriced. For my mind, the only ( in bold) reason to purchase these shares is to join the momentum party. That is never a good reason to buy shares of a company. That is just gambling, not investing and I do not think it has a place in a serious successful investor's portfolio. Even so called pros get burned by these types of buys ( think Nortel, Bre-Ex to name just two of many many such companies).

Q: Would you pay $53 for Canopy Growth or would it be more prudent to allow the industry to get up and running before investing? What are your top 4 cannabis investments and why?
Thank you.

Q: Good Morning 5i

Can you confirm % of WEED owned by Institutions/Funds? How has that changed in the last month? What percent is owned by insiders? What percentage is owned/controlled by Constellation (both owned and warrants)?

Therefore what percentage of total shares are available for retail trade? What effect could that have on future SP growth? I'm trying to understand how so many shares being already committed or tied up lends itself to increased likelihood of SP to increase in 2018.

Thanks for any comments.

Q: I currently hold shares in GC, TSGI, TSG US (TSGI), & WEED.
Do u feel GC, TSGI & TSG are good long term holds?
Would you take profits in WEED using charts (trade the ups and downs) or just let it run and take profits when?
Tks.

Q: I would like to get your overall long term opinion on pot stocks like weed that are increasing in price mostly because of larger companies what to get in in on the action. It seems like pot will be in many things including beer.Do you believe that once October comes and maybe the sales are not there to support the stock price that this could be the next stock market bubble with huge losses?

Q: Good Morning 5i
Can you comment on Constellation investment of 5 Billion CAN$ into Canopy Growth? How you see this playing out in lead up to Oct. 17th. legalization? How do you see this playing out to late 2019 when I would consider selling? Constellation is a Major US backer who obviously believes in the future market - Canadian, US & International - both medical & recreational. You have supported WEED as a speculative best pick. Is it now rising on that scale and if not, why ? Please direct question to 5i person most knowledgeable on this space. Thanks.

Q: So now it makes sense why it crashed with no "news" I mean no news for us, but the promoters of the stock, new well in advance of all the inside maneuvers and took their profits , while dumb money are .. well dump money. Pretty much all health care stocks have been a disaster: PHM, CXR, PLI, CRH. The only way to make money on this type of stocks is to be early and leave once everybody is talking about them.

The above is a question asked by a member of this site for Reliq. if the above is true, why would you recommend to members that RHT is still worth buying. Please explain. Photon keeps bouncing to $2.30 level. Do you think it is worth adding to a full position and any idea why Spotify is surging everyday. Is Spotify a potential Netflix (in terms price appreciation). Lastly with the senate vote, i would have expected a surge in cannabis stocks, but they actually fell a bit. Thanks for your input, and appreciate your ongoing advice.
