Q: Hi Group appreciate your input on the following . Why are we holding CXI + GUD both have been off (trading well off their highs) for a considerable amount of time . Why are you still recommending holding these poorly performing stocks why not sell them and get into something that is trading upwards??. What do you recommend and why Thank you

Q: ATE is set to release final Phase 2b results of their lead drug ATB-346, in 4weeks. I'm curious if you have any relevant information on the outlook of this drug and the company overall? I understand GUD has funds deployed here. And my main question is if the trial results show less GI tract bleeding (the issue with prolonged doses of Naproxen) and better efficacy results than Aleve then how could the drug or company's valuation be estimated? Sales numbers for Bayer's Aleve that could be extrapolated? thanks

Q: Uber-guru Warren Buffett once said something along the lines of "Better to buy a great company at a fair price than to buy an average company at a great price". After the market pull-back of the last few days, there may be some great companies available at fair or even better prices. Can you name a few?

Q: I have a reasonable balance of these stocks in my TFSA. With the pullback, should I add to a laggard or introduce a new one? Open to ETF as well. Long term.
Have great weekend.

Q: Cheers. First of all thanks for recent Avo encouragement. Worked out very well.

What are the consequences to Gud if companies like Amazon get into the pharmaceutical business in a big way? Also there is lots of talk by governments and insurance companies of signing contracts with drug providers where drug costs are lowered by 35-40%. Quebec signed such a contract awhile ago and recent reports suggest the other provinces are also in the process of doing so. I believe this is the area where Jonathan Goodman and his team have their expertise and previous success. I have a 3 year invested interest in Gud and wondering how these events are affecting Guds future potential and even its present share price decline?
Would like to hear your valued thots on this.
Thanks
Terry

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

I manage a TFSA for my daughter-in-law. She holds 165 shares of GUD and is presently down $419. I know that you're still positive on GUD, but she's beginning to lose patience. Would you be OK with selling GUD to buy COV (realizing its size makes it more risky) or perhaps buying XHC (which we can do commission free) to stay in the same sector in an otherwise balanced portfolio?
She's 49 years old and is using her TFSA as forced savings by adding $100 each month. (I invest the $100 in a commission-free ETF by looking at the 'best ones' and invest in the one that's down the most on the day that the $100 appears in her account.)

Thanks in advance for your insight.

Q: Hi, wondering what you would suggest as best buys this week for short term gains given the decline in many sectors or stocks showing new momentum trends? And any long term holds being offered at a good discount to pick up? Thanks for all your good advice!

Q: My TFSA Account is primarily made up of the stocks indicated above. In 2017, my net performance was around 2.8%. Would you provide suggestions for a growth stock with reasonable valuations that might help boost performance in 2018 and advise on a reasonable price for point of entry? Also, are there stocks that I hold that you view as a trade at this point with the goal of achieving a reasonable return with moderate risk?
