Q: Hello Peter and Ryan,
I have a 3 percent weight for Stars Group. I was thinking of raising the weight to 5 percent as it seems that this company is on a great growth trajectory and their results seem to suggest they are on track for it. I am starting to think Knight Therapeutics is not going to move much. I am starting to wonder if too much confidence is being put on Mr. Goodman. He has a great reputation but at the moment the shareholder returns do not seem to matter much. I do plan to hang on to it as i have a large weighting and do not want to wake up one day and the stock just surges. but wanted your thoughts. Sorry, I know you have answered questions on Knight on this site. The results today did not seem to do much. Lastly, what are Savaria's estimates. Thank you

Q: Mr. Hodson, at the time of your last report on GUD, on March 31, 2017, GUD was at $10.39, and at A-. How long before it gets over its last price of $10.39 ? I appreciate GUD may go up and down in the next while, but when do you think it will start its ascension for good and become a real champion stock ? Might its ascension then become even more impressive than that of CSU ?

Q: Hello Peter and 5i team,
What is your view of the wine industry in general and Andrew Peller in particular? A news article says that wine prices are set to rise as bad weather brings the worst harvest in 50 years to the industry leaders in France, Spain, and Italy. California was hit by wild fires and climate change is hurting other countries. Is this a positive or a negative for the Canadian wine industry?

I hold ADW.A in myTFSA and it has risen to an 18 % weighting. If I trim some ADW.A, which of the following would be your top pick for growth: BBU.UN, ENB, SYZ, Or GUD

Thank you very much for your opinion

Q: Hello 5i
In yesterday’s Q&A you replied to a question from Glen that one of your important considerations when assessing a company was “strong management”. I couldn’t agree with you more. Would you consider adding a management rating to the “report card” section of your company reports?
And on that note would you supply 6 companies that have admirable management and board teams.
Many thanks

Q: Hi guys,

Which stocks do you think have the potential to become 5, 10, or even 20 baggers over time? Would PBH, SIS, and PBL be on the list (or has their time past)? Also, can you rank the three in terms of which have the most growth going forward?

Thanks in advance.

Q: My local newspaper had an enlightening article on opioid prescriptions to treat chronic pain. The article stated that over 9 million prescriptions were filled "in Ontario alone" during 2015-2016. I found this number astounding considering the population is about 14 million which means one in every three people had this prescribed during that time which was an increase of 500,000 from three years previous to those dates.
Does this not mean Knight's announcement of Health Canada's approval of Probuphine for opioid treatment is a huge event? Why would they announce this after the close on a Friday - it seems like a big deal. What do you think?

Q: I currently own in my RRSP the following stocks : GUD, KXS, SLF, SIS, AQN (1/2) and FTS (1/2). I have 6K$ that I would like to add to only two or three of those stocks to avoid too much trading costs.
I have a longterm timeframe (20years +) for my RRSP and am diversified across my other accounts.
I was thinking of KXS, SLF and SIS first, but utilities also look quite cheap to me these days.
What would be your selection? I'd rather not add a new position to avoid having to many...

Q: Hello Peter,
On your april 9th reply to QSR, the dividend that was indicated was above 3 percent; I am seeing a dividend of 1.9 percent on google. Any idea? Also, I am planning to keep QSR , GUD, SIS, ADW.A, Shop, and Spot as long term holds. Any concerns here? My weights range from 2 to 4 percent. Lastly, I I know you have had lots of questions on Knight, but from a shareholders perspective, are we not waiting along time to get some results that are meaningful to increase stock price? What are the analysts saying about Knight as I am sure their clients are not happy with the stock price. Thanks again for the great input.

Q: Regarding GUD and ENDP Asked by Serge and others waiting for GUD to make a move. Considering debt load, Enbridge merged with Spectra, Davis and Henderson bought Harland Financial. What happened to ENB share price and where is D&H today. Could Knight be biting off too much as well if they were to move on ENDP considering the debt they would inherit?
Quote: "ENDP has more than $7B in debt and less than $600M in cash flow in the last 12 months. The stock is down 50% in a year. Interest expenses of $488M last year ate up nearly all of its total cash flow. Earnings are lower than they were 8 years ago."

Q: Good morning 5i
While skimming local media this morning the article in globe business caught my attention; Acasta.

Taking the article at face value highlights the benefit of not being rushed to put capital to use. Mistakes can be costly; overpaying and large debt levels.

I don't like seeing Gud underwater but I know it is not permanently impaired nor priced for destruction.

Pg b17. Globe business. Mar. 24

Thanks for the service.
