Q: Wow your team is good!

I am short in health care in my portfolio. Can you please provide me with your current five favourite health care buys for growth over the next five years. I am comfortable with volatility, Canada or US, and small, medium or large cap.

Thanks in advance

Q: According to StockCharts, GUD has increased 32.45% in the past month. The only stock in your Balanced Equity portfolio that is down is NFI, down 27.45%. My question is, re NFI why? Should we be patient? Can we see NFI rebound when the pandemic subsides and people start moving around again?

Q: In answer to @Cheryl, Knight released two news yesterday. The Triumvira repayment shows that Goodman's strategy of battling mostly 'singles' (except the GBT 'homerun') is working.

However, a more meaningful news is that Knight finished repurchasing 100% of their shares buyback under their NCIB. I don't recall a company actually buying "all" of the NCIB allocation. We knew they had bought 78% of it as of March 30, 20 in their Q4 2019 quarterly report. We could have expected they would buy the other 18% but still did it quickly with Stock having dropped a lot in the COVID market (even though they said COVID had not affected their business - well not yet at least).

Question: their NCIB only expires on July 8. Does it mean GUD has to wait until July 8 to request another NCIB to the TSX if they want to continue buying back their shares? Medison still owns 7.5% (10.5M shares) of the company, and I would really like to have GUD arrange a 'block' buyback of Medison's Shares via a 'special NCIB' repurchase to finish the Meir Jacobson involvement once and for all without disrupting the share price, or at least causing uncertainty/concern on that.

Is that possible? And if so, does it have to wait until current NCIB expires in July even as they have completed 100% of the current NCIB already? Thank you!

Q: The current volatility and fear in the market has lead me to believe there will be some companies that will unnecessarily be punished/caught in the crossfire and therefore offer a great risk/return
could you please list out companies in your mind that have decreased significantly unfairly and/or offer a compelling risk/return in the US or Canadian Markets
thank you

Q: First, congrats on passing the 100,000 question mark. This is a remarkable achievement. Well done.
Can subscribers expect a special dividend payment?
Reading Knight Therapeutics' results and conference call recap, I learned Knight now has 700 employees, will have over $400M in cash after paying out all shareholders to conclude the purchase, concluded the battle with Medison, started expanding into Mexico on day one in December and does not foresee any financial stress on the company due to the virus. This is very positive. On the negative side, they obviously have a problem getting to Doctors although the flow of medicine is uninterrupted, two drugs were not designated for public funding by Health Canada and, obviously, the timing of the purchase would have most likely been better if done a couple of months later after the virus hit.
A couple of questions: would Knight have any options with the drugs refused public insurance or are they stuck with these investments and how much will that affect their business; do you think Knight will be able to use their vast international network to bring new drugs to Biotoscan that they may not have had access to; how much will the virus interfere with revenues in Canada, Israel and LatAm or will shipments continue as usual; and, finally, in general, do you think Knight, all situations considered, is on a positive trajectory for the future when the current crisis ends?
Thank you very much.

Q: I have the following securities in what I consider a balanced portfolio. The fixed income portion doesn’t show here because it consists of OAS. CCP. Plus two other pensions.
I’m thinking of sell part position in MMX ( small loss);and ARE to realize a capital loss while at the same time raising some cash for the next pullback. I like TFII . We need to keep the food chain moving. Trucking an important part . The other is cargo jet. Am I on the right track . Your opinion. Or would you look elsewhere given the current holdings.

Q: Which one of these, if any, would you sell to increase my tech sector allocation? Can you please rank them as well.
Alternatively, if they all have good long term potential, I have the flexibility to increase my equity allocation with additional cash. Please let me know you thoughts and thank you!

Q: Do you know if Knight has re-purchased more shares since the monumental price decline?
Do you have any indication Medisen has reduced their share position from 10.4M shares?
Has Knight given any info on it's progress purchasing Biotoscan public shares?
Is this a good environment for JG to look for great bargains or will he let the dust settle and get their new acquisition going first?
Finally, is there a short position on Knight?
Whew! Thank you.
