Q: All the above is what I have in portfolio with equal weightings. I purchased all stocks 1 year ago. I am down on all except for SHOP and BYD. TOY is Down the most. Do you recommend to sell any of these stocks? What new stock would you recommend to add to a tfsa for growth?
Please deduct credit as you feel appropriate.
Thank you.

Q: Does the following make sense, or is there a flaw I'm missing? For a beginning RRSP with 35 yrs to retirement: 50% VGRO and 50% equal amts TD, EMA, PBH, BEP.UN? ( to increase Cdn exposure and to make a little more conservative)
Thank you.

Q: I have 59K (38k in TFSA, 21k in Trading account). I am thinking to follow the balanced equity portfolio, so approx. $2250 each name. Time frame is less than 5 years. Two questions: Do you support this idea? If so, which names to purchase in each account? Thanks very much.

Q: My daughter TFSA contains the above stocks. She can add 1 (full position) or 2 (half position) this year. What would be a good fit for her present holdings? Would you suggest selling Stella Jones &/or Telus and replacing it with something else? She has a long time frame as she will not need the money in the foreseeable future.

Q: Hi all,

I'm down on all 3 of the above stocks - but I still like them. I think I just need to be told to hang on, it can be a bumpy ride. Forgot to ask - can I add to these positions at this time, to average down?

Q: Hi Peter & 5i team,
These are the current holdings in our grandsons RESP ( age 5). We are adding new money. Could you please give your opinion on our current holdings and what suggestion would you have on acquiring a new stock or alternatively topping up an existing one.
Thank you very much.

Q: Most of the companies under PBH are focused on meat production. I'm curious if the company has given any indication in their calls of diversifying their offering more going forward or looking at non meat companies for acquisitions (Daiya, Yves)?

I feel like I'm hearing a lot more new new years resolutions this year about having more meatless meals a week because of environmental and health concerns. Google searches for veganism have been steadily rising through the years as well.

I'd be curious to hear your thoughts and how it may affect PBH or any measures they're taking.

Thanks for all your work!
Dennis

Q: Can you please comment on the payout ratios and free cash flow of these companies. As they are both growing and acquiring other companies, I thought the payout ratio was low. How would you rate their capital allocation over the last few years (cash flow, debt vs issuing new shares) ? Thank you!

Q: I would appreciate if I can have payout ratios for NFI, PBH, SIS, CGX. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Ryan, Peter and excellent team.

Q: Good morning 5i,
I should say right away, thanks very much for the heads up on Jnj. I took your advice and got out in the summer!
but, I unfortunatly do have some that are still in loss territory. I am worried that these are probably down at their lowest point and that there may be a rally in the New Year that I would miss if I sell for tax loss.

I wonder what your thoughts are on that? Also, if you think that there isn't much of a chance of them coming back soon, how would you rate them as a sell, ie which one most likely to stay down for 30 days?
thanks
