Q: Hello and thanks for your insights. Do you have an opinion on MGO going forward? I am wondering if this could be a potential agricultural play?

Q: Hi Peter,
I know we have discussed this company before (NML), it looks like a great long term story and I realize it's more of a macro story(we require China picking up etc...). Any thoughts today as the shares have closed below $1? Thanks.

Q: Hey guys. I am not familiar at all with Jovian Capital and probably wont buy it but the curiosity is killing me. They recently announced a special $3 a share dividend but the shareprice has only jumped 70 cents. Is there something I am missing? I noticed in May they also paid a special $4 dividend that didn't really move the stock either. Your insights are appreciated.
Q: LIF Do you have an opinion or recommendation on LIF (Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Corp.) Share price is down, would this be a stock to buy and hold for dividends and the long term?
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: how do you think of mbt which has dropped substantially in recent weeks. how do you compare mbt with ba?
Q: Cliffs Natural Resources (CLF)trades in New York. Dividend yield is over 7%. This stock is down over 4$ today at close to $30. This is North Americas largest producer of iron ore pellets and I know there is some problem with iron ore prices declining. This was an $80 stock a year or so ago. Ian
Q: Peter; Please read the Martin Pelletier article today's Post , Page FP6. Obviously he is on your side of the street. Rod
Q: Peter,
I'd like your opinion on this "new generation" of dividend paying oil juniors. Speciifically, I am interested in hearing your thoughts on Twin Butte Energy at the current levels and how it compares with Renegade Petroleum (looks like Renegade is setting themselves up to be quite similar to Twin Butte).

Q: Do you recommend equal weighting of positions in an equity portfolio, or do you recommend the weighting vary by security rating?
Q: You mention that you favour other ETF's over EIT.UN. Which did you have in mind? I note that EIT.UN trails TSX and CDZ over all periods from recent months to YTD to 10 years, except 4 year.
Q: Could I have your views on Paladin Labs [PLB]. Recent price action is a concern. Thank you
Q: In reference to your answer to Mary Jean, Nov. 18, I always thought the div. was paid to holders of record at the close of business on the record date, not the ex dividend date. Thank you
Q: GCL (Collabor) Is this a good candidate and a good time to buy this stock for a yield oriented portfolio?
It is low beta, pays a healthy 8.79% dividend and is trading near the bottom of its 5 year range.
Thanks for your help with this decision.

Q: What do you think of Macdonald Detwiler symbol MDA? Is it too expensive here at 14 times cash flow? It seems to have the elements that you guys like in a company - decent and growing dividend, good history of earnings, and smart targeted acquisitions. Are they too wedded to government contracts for your liking? Thanks and I love the site.
Q: Hi Peter and crew, would you own EIT.UN at this point of the time?
Thanks, Zoran

Q: peter; Aside from lack of liquidity do you consider BRE a safe income situation? Thanks. Rod
Q: What is your view on RIC since it just made a new low this past friday? Is it a buy here?
Q: Hi Peter,Patheon has been a lightly traded stock until more recently. My concern about the Transferable Rights offering today is for a short period to Dec 28/12.Do you think there will be much of market to sell the Rights that are only active for about 5 weeks in a thinly traded stock? My experience with options in Toronto market has not been good in terms of spread and liquidity. Thanks,George
