Q: Good morning Peter, Ryan, and team,
A BNN contributor recently said: "Natural gas will become the best performing commodity and this is clearly being seen by the sharp rise the NYMEX natural gas, as low inventories and colder winter weather affect demand."
Do you agree with this assessment, and if so, what stock(s) do you recommend to take advantage of this trend? Our only energy holdings are ENB and PKI.
Thanks as always for your valued advice.

Q: Should I just throw in the towel on Encana? If so, could you suggest a replacement? Thanks.
Q: The "street" appears to dislike the Encana purchase announced today. Is this transaction that bad for the Encana stock?
The sell-off is certainly significant and does this represent a worthy entry point?
I also keep hearing that gas stockpiles are far below historical levels and with the cold weather around the corner would this have any positive impact for Encana?

Q: Hi, I have recently purchased shares at around $14.50. However, the stock has been dropping consistently. Natural gas has been pretty low. What do you think the outlook for Encana and natural gas is? The ticker symbol is ECA.TO. It is a pretty high beta stock so it moves around quite a bit. Let me know thanks!
Q: Why is Encana, a gas producer, rising so fast; while the price of Gas (UNG) is struck at the bottom. Does Encana has any other valuable asset.
CPF (Cdn Forest Product) is rising as a consequence of hurricanes, forecasting demand for lumber. Which is better Cdn stock or ETF.
Thanks

Q: Debt: What is a reasonable and safe amount of debt for a company to have? Does it depend on the type of company? I'm looking for a guideline. I realize telecoms carry higher debt. Also, I noted that you pointed out with Encana (ECA) "debt is still more than 4X cash flow".
Q: Encana has been steadily climbing this month. Is it worth taking a small position?
WCP has held it's own YTD, but not TOG. I am still under by a small %. Should I sell TOG and add to WCP?
Thanks!

Q: The above lists my oil and gas investments. In addition I have drilling, service companies, and pipelines also associated with oil and gas. I feel that I have too many companies to easily follow and would like some recommendations. Based on your current thoughts can you recommend which I should sell and which I should buy more of and why. Also if there is company that I have not listed which you think is a better fit please consider including that in your recommendations. Based on my history, I usually keep an investment for a minimum of 5 years and some of the above I have had for at least 15 years. Also, if you believe that later in the year may be a better time to consider the trades I am contemplating will you please mention that as well. Thank you very much. I highly value your opinion.
Q: I own stock in this company in my TFSA and since they pay there dividends in US dollars, how will the dividends be treated when it comes to Revenue Canada. Or are the dividends converted to Canadian dollars before I receive them?
Q: I own both CVE & ECA for many years now .Back when they were one company (Encana).
Now that the recovery has taken place my diversification in energy is higher than I want it to be . I have Suncor and BP as my core companies and I want to get rid of either CVE and or ECA (maybe both).
Can you give me consensus estimate for both CVE and ECA. And can you give me your opinion as to which one I should get rid of (CVE or ECA).
Lastly do you believe SU and BP are good core company choices for my energy sector allocation.
Thank you
