Q: Hi - I am wondering if you think the move higher in gold has exhausted itself? If not, would you prefer AEM over FNV (or vice versa)...or would you favour a bullion ETF like GLD

Q: I know AEM is one of the most frequently mentioned gold stocks when 5i is asked for a gold stock recommendation. Since October the price of gold has essentially been a straight line up and to the right. I see no insider buying at AEM. What are we missing? They seem to be a non performer!

Q: Hi 5i,
Thanks for the great work. I’m looking at the precious metal component of my portfolio for tax loss selling opportunities. Can I please ask you opinion on these 5x companies?

Q: I have these names as part of my materials sector. Do you think this is a good diversified mix of companies for long term growth? I was thinking of adding in TECK. Would you add TECK to this group or swap one of the names out for TECK? If you had to consolidate to just 3 names, which ones would you pick?

AEM - 1.98%
MEOH - 0.85%
LUN - 0.68%
NTR - 1.27%

Q: I had a thesis about Gold and purchased these 3 stocks. My thesis did not pan out, so to speak, and I wish to do some tax harvesting. I am inclined to continue to hold some Gold but wonder what your current thoughts are about the sector? Also, if you were me and wanted to stay in the sector, can you suggest some proxies to hold upon the harvest. FYI, I have a small position in Teck. Last, can you indicate which of the 3 holdings you might see as worthy of getting back into. Many thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i Team
Have held AEM for several years in a LIF. Share price is down about 35%. I am looking at LUN as an alternative with a higher dividend and possibly better growth. Gold or copper? Could I get your opinion for a long term hold. Thanks

Q: High growth stocks. A recent NP piece by Peter H. advised investors consider these vs. conservative picks coming out of a bear market. "Stocks that used to be 50X sales are now 3X sales and still growing at 50%+...a Bloomberg screen shows 982 companies with 50% sales growth in the next year."

Could you provide 10 Cdn. stocks in this category or better yet provide a link to the Bloomberg screen. Thanks.
