Q: I just bought more Tricon today after RBC downgraded the share price target from $14 to $13. Am I missing something here? I have looked at this company very meticulously - management has hit its numbers consistently over the years and the recent merger looks great in terms of scale - why the consistent market punishment?

Q: I’m very confused with the movement in Tricon’s share price despite beating analyst expectations and generally performing well financially for years it seems to only trade sideways. I’ve also noticed that the REIT sector has broken out as a whole (ex. XRE) but Tricon can’t catch a bid. I know the business isn’t quite the same but I’ve heard analysts make analogies to Brookfield and Blackstone and yet the share price just goes sideways. What gives? Also would Tricon be an attractive take out for Brookfield or some other private equity? Thanks

Q: Your thoughts on these companies at present values. Looking at 1 year hold.
Q: If the deemed value of the shares issued is $13.10 - why the big dip today down to a close of $10.91. Obviously the market does not believe the assets are worth the value implied by the deemed value of $13.10. I'm guessing this is due to the size of the transaction and associated risks.

Q: Please subtract two question credits if you feel that is correct. First, are REIT"S good to hold in a down market, i.e. bear or recession? I am thinking that ones pertaining to rentals would be? I hold TCN,CAR and IIP in my TFSA. TCN is not doing great and I am worried the future U.S. housing market if the U.S. economy tanks, will be affected by it. thinking of swapping it for PRV ( I like the dividend) or adding more to IIP and CAR instead. Looking for good income.... your thoughts please,

Q: Could you deepen your thoughts please. This year, earnings will be close to $1.50 ( 7x earnings). Next year, will be half of that. And the year after, still going lower. How can this be a value buy, what do you see that I don't?
