Q: A good chunk of my TFSA was chugging along nicely to the tune of KWH and its nice dividend, but ... alas ... no more!

Thinking of redistributing the money into WCP ... or any of the others in the energy sector mentioned above. Your thoughts?

I've also been toying with avoiding the sector altogether in this account (since I hold Enbridge and Algonquin Power in an RSP) ... and stepping over to Savaria?

The crystal ball question (without holding anybody to account is!) ... is ... which is likely to do better ... the energy picks, or Savaria? (I'm looking for a dividend with some growth in this account.)

If I should avoid ALL of these at the moment, any other thoughts on "growth with dividend"?

Thanks, as always!

Q: Hi 5iR, I have been out of investing in energy stocks for a while, however with oil back down in the low $50.00 range I'm reviewing a few names. TOG and SGY appear to be very attractively priced and pay an excellent dividend. I can't seem to find any negative analyst reporting on either one?? Maybe that's telling me something?? In addition, TD has just raised its' target price on both of them and TOG has increased it's dividend. TD's Target Price on TOG is $8.50, which would mean better than 100% upside at todays price of $4.00
The story with VET is a little cloudy......they do have a lot of debt, but the management team is excellent and the European exposure means more cash for their product.
My questions are: is the oil sector a place to start allocating some funds now and how do the above names stack up as investment choices?
Thanks Team. Cheers, Chris

Q: Looking to start a position in a canadian energy name. Was looking to do it a few months back but wasn't certain on which one to buy. Would you rank the names I have sent with your thoughts on each.
Thanks Gary

Q: Hi 5i - I have 10% invested in these energy stocks, now worth 5% of my portfolio. Would you put any new money in any of these to take advantage of the run up in oil? Or just sit tight and hope for a recovery (or sell outright)? Thanks, Neil

Q: 16% of my portfolio is made up of the above listed stocks.
All are relatively volatile compared to the rest (84%) of my holdings
Do you consider these holdings and their weights to represent excessive risk to a portfolio?
Which of these stocks would you keep and which would you sell to reduce the risk?
Many thanks
John

Q: Good morning everyone. I am interested in buying a few different energy stocks. I’m in my early senior years - but do not mind some risk.
Have room in my TFSA and RSP accounts.
Enjoy your diligent reporting and investigation
Thank you

Q: I currently have a 12% weighting in Energy. 60% of which is split between ENB and PKI as my core holdings and the remaining 40% split between VET, WCP, TOG, RRX and CJ. I am comfortable with the ENB and PKI but I am wondering if I should make any changes to the other 5 holdings. Drop one or two of the weakest and concentrate on the remaining 3 or 4 stronger names? Trim all 5 and add another name? I am hoping the oil rally continues and I want to be in the best position to take advantage of it.
Many Thanks
Scott

Q: Most oil&gas yeildcos were losing value before the correction, but now even VET is testing 6-month lows. Are there any that stand out as so grossly depressed that the reward outweighs the risk? (Please add to the supplied list as you see fit.)
