Q: With all the supply chain issues, and supply chain management being KXS specialty why was the stock flat in 2021, and down 2022. Supply chain issues persist, KXS does not appear to be capitalizing. Will revenue and share price improve through this year? I know it has been mentioned they have lumpy earnings but the conditions for their products should be very strong.
What am I missing on KXS?

Thank you, Mike

Q: Can I get your top picks for Small and Mid sized Canadian Growth Tech stocks for the next 12 months. Also, should we mind witch exchange these stocks are on?

Q: Looking to lighten the load on above names. In terms of growth please rank their prospects over at least 3-year time horizon. Thanks.

Q: I own OTEX and not DSG or KXS. I follow a blend of the income and balanced portfolio but bought OTEX instead of KXS as I don't like to buy companies that don't have a dividend. Thus why I don't currently own DSG or KXS. My question is should I sell my OTEX and replace it with DSG or KXS. I've owned OTEX for a few years so up about 25% ( excluding the div) even with the current pullback. I can see the change in the growth portfolio but don't see a strong reason to sell it to buy DSG or KXS in a balanced/income view unless you feel strongly otherwise.

Q: HI,

Do you think its time to get back to tech stocks? I already own CSU. If so, can u rank the CDN teck stocks (CTS, DSG, XIT, ZQQ, KXS, LSPD, Shop) based on reliable growth and manageable volatility? if you have better ideas please include them.

Q: I tend to hold either 3% or 5% positions in companies I own. If you were to own the above companies, which ones would you be inclined to own at a 3% level and which ones at a 5% level? If you would not be inclined to hold one or more of these companies at all, please indicate.
Thanks for a great service and have a well deserved weekend break. ram

b) How would you rank the six companies most compelling keep to first to drop if dropping any

Moderate risk tolerance

Q: I'm thinking of increasing the tech exposure (presently 15%) to the 29 stocks I own in my portfolio. Presently my tech exposure is CSU, DSG and KXS. I find ADBE interesting. Would you invest more in the 3 stocks I already own or initiate a postion in ADBE?

Q: I have been looking at recommendations in the questions and have picked the companies listed above to look into.
Without considering sector diversification, would you say each of these individually are strong companies to invest in, or would you separate these into different tiers?
In what order would you take a position in these stocks if you were to invest today? (e.g. may want to wait until prices for growth stocks like TIXT/TSU stabilize)
Also please provide suggested entry prices for each.

Q: Dear 5i Team,

If there was an option to totally liquidate all of the investments someone had and start with a clean slate, which 20 stocks US and Canada (10 each) would you recommend for a 10 year horizon?

Thank you for your advice as always,

Much appreciated.

Q: Hi 5i
What Game Plan would you consider executing for the following situations...........?
For all these stocks I have been holding off taking action as there has been no new information to support any action. Now given rapid price decline, I have become concerned about share restructuring and shareholders being diluted to death for the micro caps.
I will be waiting for earnings on the ones still to be released.
While you do not want to hear it, all these except XBC/LSPD were 5i induced purchases so some thoughts on possible action at this point would be appreciated.
None of these are causing me a problem except for being down.
As a Portfolio Manager, how best to manage these positions inside a broadly diversified Portfolio?
If they are to be kept, at some point I will have to either add to the tiny positions or get rid of them. But when and on what information?

TFSA Holdings (where the growth is supposed to be)
QST - down 40%. Size is now at half position size at this point.
XBC - down 38%. Size is now back to near full position size after riding the round trip.
STC - was up 25% and now down 20%, Half position size.

Taxable Account
AT - Down 19%. Sitting on half position since buying on Jan 12/22
ANRG - Down 37%. Sitting on less than half position since buying on Feb 2/22
LSPD - Down 64% on a poorly executed Options trade. Hold only 1/3 position.

And KXS which disgusts me as I knew I should have sold while I watched it at $229. Position size is full position.

Thanks
Dave

Q: Hi 5i team
I'm looking to add 1 stock to my TFSA. I'm considering Kinaxis or Descarte. Which would you add. Also curious as a good price entry point for both.
I am also considering adding Booking Holdings to my RRSP. What are your thoughts and also would appreciate a good price entry point.

Thanks Peter,Ryan and team for your valuable guidance.
