Q: I have a full position and am in the black with the stock. However, the latest results were weak and the stock has moved down. Is it time to sell and move on or do you feel ITP is still a good hold with upside potential? If you think selling is in order, what would you replace it with?

Q: Hi, can you rank the following companies as long term hold potential taking into account current valuations. I am looking to start positions in all companies I am just not sure which ones to start with.
Also, I feel like there is so much noise about moving away from oil that buying ENB long term can be a bad portfolio decision. Can you also comment on this. I am 30 and don't plan on selling anything any time soon.

Q: Hello
Is ITP's $67M purchase of CANTECH a material event for ITP. I see the purchase price is $3Mhigher than originally stated due to some extra costs.
What is you opinion of ITP's prospects going forward.
Thank You
Have a great day

Q: Slowly building up my TFSA portfolio. Currently have BNS, T, IPL, AQN, BIP.UN and ECI. Thinking about adding ARE and ITP and wondering your thoughts on these companies or suggested alternates. Thank you.
Q: Please provide your comments on ITP's Q1 results. Thank you.
Q: I currently hold ITP which is a consumer staple non durable stock in a non registered account
Is this a hold, add,or sell?
If not a hold or sell, would you recommend some better companies in the sector that pay a dividend and have more potential?
Thanks
Peter

Q: I noticed that ITP shows "share based compensation expense" every quarter (for several years) as an item to be excluded when calculating "adjusted earnings", thereby considerably increasing "adjusted earnings" over what would be otherwise. It is a reasonably consistent number, and a very large component of their earnings. It seems to be just a variable "employee expense". Is this sort of accounting common in financial reporting of "adjusted" earnings, and is it something to watch out for?
Q: Hi Peter and gang,
Would you please comment on the recent pullback of ITP; it had dropped by just over 10% since early February.
Cheers,

Q: Hello and thank you for your great service. What can you tell me about ITP - Intertape Polymer Group? The long term trend has been positive; however, it seems for every 2 steps forward, there is always 1 step back. Is this company a favourite with day traders? I have been holding long term, so not a great concern; I'm just curious as to why there always seems to be a pull back.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Q: Your preference between Intertape Polynmer (ITP) and ZCL Composites (ZCL).
Consensus eps estimates has ITP earning $1.16 in 2017 and $1.23 in 2018. Not all that inspiring but the business seems stable enough and its in a sector where, I think, if the US economy picks up I can envision the company beating those eps estimates.
ZCL is cheaper using 2017 eps estimates for comparative purposes and seems to have a little better growth going forward. However with ZCL their business seems a little more difficult to predict.
Your opinions are appreciated.
Thanks.

Q: I think CCL.B, RPI.UN, WPK and ITP are sort of i the packaging/labelling business so somewhat related. How would you rate these companies based on earnings potential and management competence & ability to do what they promise over 5 yr period? Also separately rate each relative to their balance sheet please.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: I've both CCL.B and ITP and over the years, they have grown quite a bit. I am thinking to trim back to lower their %. Please let me know if both are in about the same business. Which has a better balance sheet (less debt) and more future growth? Which of the two should I trim back or should I sell equal portion of both? Thanks and a merry Xmas to the entire 5i team.
Q: Which of these 2 stocks would you recommend for an initial position? Could you comment on each of their growth prospects, debt levels dividend growth/stability and their prospects with regards to their forays into markets outside of Canada? Also, what might be an attractive entry level for each. Thanx.
Q: May I have your current view in ITP. I believe it reported as well but I did not see any report. Thank you.
Q: Hi Peter and gang,
Would you please comment on ITP's bounce of just over 8% today. And going forward,is it still a buy or hold at this price. Thanks.
