Q: Hi 5i - is there a way we can elect to keep our Toronto Exchange shares? I emailed Intertain, however they have not responded (I didn't receive a paper copy of the election). Any suggestions? Thanks, Neil

5i Research Answer:
We are recommending tendering under the exchange, and taking the EXCHANGEABLE share option.
My question is what are the pros and cons of going for each option?
If the value is higher on the London exchange do we expect the TSE price to be the same adjusted for currency differences?

Q: If we hold IT shares in a regular discount broker with a canadian big six bank, will our shares automatically convert to the exchangeable shares if we don't do anything? Thanks.
Q: You responded to a query about IT recommending taking the exchangeable shares. Could you please explain why and are you still positive about the company? Thanx for the great service.
Q: will you please give your opinion on what to do with these shares
thanks donald.
thanks donald.
Q: Am I correct in assuming the "Exchangeable Shares" I would receive under the Plan of Arrangement would still be traded on a Canadian exchange.

Q: Hello 5I
I currently hold these three but they have been a bit of a drag for a year or so. I was thinking of redeploying the capital elsewhere but I looked at TD Waterhouse charts on them and they appear to be gaining a bit in the last month or so. There are good bullish signals on them recently. I know you guys prefer point and figure charts but TD Waterhouse do not have them and I don't understand them. In a nutshell what do point and figure charts say about these stocks?
Thanks Again
Clarence

Also do the shorters shares become shorts on the LSE or the Canadian listing
- no position yet
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team,
From the growth stocks listed above what would be your top 5 for expected stock performance over the next 3 - 5 years.
Feel free to take as many question credits as you feel necessary.
Much appreciated,
Jon

Q: Regarding Intertain Group, they seem to continue delivering having just had a quarter that surpassed expectations nicely but the stock cannot get any traction. Would you say that the company is not trading in accordance with its fundamental strengths and has simply fallen out of favour? I am starting to look at it as a growth/value stock that almost inevitably has to move up 20% barring a scandal. Your thoughts?
Q: Could you comment on the latest Q on IT and their latest initiatives? It seems like a beat on estimates. Do you see any benefit to owning this along side AYA or do you prefer one over the other?
Thank you
Thank you

Q: What are your thoughts on Intertain at this current price. Looking to buy for a trade. Thanks
Q: I am confused about Intertain, which I like. It took a hit a while back because of the controversy surrounding gaming stocks, but earnings are doing quite well, growth is on track, and evaluation seems (to me) low, especially with good growth prospects. I realize that BREXIT calls into question a take-over of parts or all of the company, but I thought if a take-over happened it would be around $20. Why are we sitting at $10? Do you think the metrics merit such a (low) stock price?
Q: Hi , can you translate the IT press release from yesterday
If they list on LSE , will it no longer trade on the TSX.
If IT still trades on TSX how is it correlated with "ListCo"
If still trading does the share price stay in sync
Thanks

Q: Hi,
I caught Ryan on BNN last night and he seemed a little worried about IT. I own mostly balanced equity portfolio stocks and just a few growth portfolio stocks, with IT being one. Ryan didn't like the risk/reward at this time. Should I switch into one of his top picks like XTC, which I assume has a better risk/reward. Or on the other hand, should I just hold IT for the long term and ride it out.
Thanks,
Steve
