Q: Hi,i have these 10 stocks as my TFSA holdings.Down around 7% in last couple weeks.I have long term view of 8-10 years to retirement and would like your opinion on the group as a whole and if i should stay the coarse or would you suggest any changes?
thanks,
brad.
I have 1/2 position in each of GC and TSGI. Is this a good time to go to a full position? Which company of the two would you prefer both on a short and long term basis?
Q: Could I have your top 3-5 Canadian stock recommendations (any sector, growth focus although dividend would be nice) for a RESP? Present value is $30k with about 50% in US/EAFE ETFs, and 10% in XIC. The rest is in Canadian banks, utilities, telecoms. No withdrawals needed for 12 yrs.
Q: Concerning Mike's question, earlier today, on Great Canadian Gaming. You indicated the expected eps for Q2 is 67 cents. I have Thompson Reuters showing consensus expected eps of 72 cents. Is that a slight oversight or is your source showing a consensus of 67 cents? Thanks.
What are your thoughts on GC's numbers? Does this report give more ammo to the longs or to the shorts? Are there any red flags? What is GC's debt profile and their capacity to handle that debt.
Q: Do you have estiamtes for GC's earnings tomorrow? I seem to remember that last quarter only had a few weeks of the new Ontario bundle included in them... am I correct on that? I have been wanting to add a position on the pullback, and earnings kind of crept up on me. Would it be a good buy heading into earnings, or would you wait until later in the week?
Q: GC has been on a downtrend since some $55.85 on 6/12 to current $45.73.After market close on 7/23 it announced that the union members of Hard Rock casino, vancouver is returning to work on7/25.Any other news?.Have a 2.5% position @ $51.05,so it is time to add? Txs for u usual great services & views
Q: With GC having the momentum down and GH and TSGI on a positive trend which would you prefer to hold I currently hold GC and thinking with the bad press on money laundering in BC it might be time to switch.
Q: Hi. Thanks for all the great advise and suggestions you provide. Please recommend 6 to 8 growth stocks that are diversified if possible for a 10 year timeline.. thank you.
Q: Good morning 5i team
I am a retired, conservative investor who recently reduced the equity portion of our portfolio to raise cash for possible market "opportunities". Our largest equity holdings are TD, BNS, ENB, EMA and BCE. Thanks to 5i, we also hold SIS, NFI, BEP.UN and GUD. If we get a significant market sell-off, would you please recommend 3 or 4 stocks that have a good competitive advantage, modest debt and good growth potential. Thank you for your advice. Edward
Q: What are your recommendations for a 12 (Canadian) stock TFSA from your BE portfolio with a 3-5 yr hold with average to above average risk tolerance? Looking for individual company names.
