Q: I bought FRU with an eye on income. With the current excitement in the market, the drop in FRU share price and the recent precipitous decline in oil prices, should I be worried about the 14 cent payout or is this just a 'hang on' time?

Q: Hello Peter & Co
I own FRU since 2009. Mason Granger of Sentry has recently mentioned that over 30% of the cash flow is likely to be taxed this year; this would increase the dividend payout ratio thus increasing the likelihood of a reduction in distribution.
Could you please verify this assertion?
Thanks
Tony

Q: I am looking at two companies with high dividends, Freehold Royalties and Enbridge Holdings. Which of these are the most secure and have a prospect of some capital gains.
Q: Does Freehold Realities (FRU) still have a payout ratio greater than 100% ? If so, do you consider this to be a signal to stay away from buying this stock. The price has been down lately and it appears to be a compelling buy.
Thank you.

Q: Hi, Peter et al: Re: Freehold Royalties Ltd. [FRU], where does one find out if there's been a downgrade? I checked the FRU 'news' at TMX, my own discount broker, Yahoo finance Canada, and Freehold's Web site and no such information appears. How does a person find out if there's been either an upgrade or a downgrade? Thank god I check your 'member questions' daily or I'd be lost. Also, when CIBC (or any other analyst up- or downgrades anybody, do they have to give a reason?
Thanks, Dale
Thanks, Dale
Q: Good Morning - I noticed FRU was off about 5% yesterday. I cannot find any news that would cause this drop. Do you have any insight?
Sincere thanks for a great service.

Q: Hi Peter and team >>I've noticed some recent upgrades in Freehold Royalties FRU. Do you concur and do you think it is a buy at this level?
Q: Hi Peter;
I wonder if you would be able to explain to me the royalty structure of FRU and how it works. Does FRU actually own the underlying land or do they lease it from others? What are your thoughts on this type of entity?
Many thanks.
