Q: Back around 1970 the ratio was about 16/1 ---ten years ago it was around 40/1
and has been creeping up ever since --although showing some recent improvement
Do you see it going down in the not so distant future?
Why do you think it went from 16/1 to today at 75/1?

Also what would be your top silver picks both stocks and ETF?

Thanks

Peter

Q: Hello Peter,
Do you have a clear favorite between WM and WDO? If Gold rises over the next few months, which of WM or WDO stock would be better correlated and would you expect silver to lag or outperform? And do you have a favorite between FR and MAG? The time frame would be the next 6 months before I review my positions.
Thank you as always for your astute insight.
Regards
Rajiv

Q: Can you update your comments on Eastmain and the upcoming buy-out? I am a LT SH and have not done well though it appears to have a good location and gneral potential. I am looking at cashing out and rolling in to other opportunities in mining that are actually producing but have not run up with the bullion prices. It seems to me that First Majestic is well positioned to benefit from the recent silver pricing change. Any thoughts to share on that or other companies with share prices that have not risen with the rise in bullion prices, yet?
Thanks, Calvin

Q: Hi team,
I currently have holdings in the above companies and ETFs, and with the exception of MAG I am up between 12-90% on all of these. I am thinking that I should take some profits to reduce my exposure in the gold and silver sector.
Are there any of these that you would recommend getting out of, or would I be better to pare down my holding in each to get back to an acceptable percentage of my portfolio?
Also, if I was to hold some of these longer term, say 1-3years, can you please rank them in order of which you would recommend holding for that length of time.
thanks as always,
Paula

Q: I recently bought AEM and KL for gold exposure. Looking back at 2008-2011 after the financial crisis, gold and silver had massive rallies! Do you think the macro conditions now with central banks pumping out money into the economy set up the same conditions for a multi year rally as well or what was different back then to now? Would you suggest holding both silver and gold? What would be your top etf for silver and 3 best silver stocks? Thanks!

Q: Apologies for the long list. Could I have your opinion on which I should sell? I will probably take the proceeds and add to FNV, AEM, and KL (are those reasonable choices?). Thanks very much.

Q: A lot of the precious metal stocks have been on the rise in the past few weeks and yet First Majestic Silver seems to be on a steady decline. Any thoughts on the reason it is declining? I am wondering if I should cut my losses on this stock, sell it and replace it with PAAS. Your thoughts on this move would be appreciated.

Thanks as always

Q: I currently a small amount of GDX and GLD. I would like to increase my gold holdings a bit. Is there a stock you recommend? I am wondering about ABX or GOLD, if you like those, and is GOLD better than the CAD ABX? Or do you prefer another gold stock?
Also, is this a good time to buy silver? If so, would you recommend a stock or an ETF, CAD or US? Thank you.

Q: Silver stocks have had a run since mid-year; does the team have opinion on silver itself and a preferred method of investing in the commodity.
Thanks... your thoughts are respected and appreciated
