Q: Hi 5i,

Pretty sure I know your answer based on past questions, but I have so many questions to use from being a long time satified member.

Would you swap MG for DOO? Please provide some comparison metrics for the next 3 to 5 years to justify switch.

Again, using same question above, compare a BNS to TD switch.

Q: Hello Peter,

I have shortlisted 5 stocks for a new position in TFSA of my wife and mine. I am thinking of 3 full positions or I could divide amongst 4. Could you help me eliminate one from my list and would appreciate if you could rank the other 4 in order of our preference - best first?

I hold BAM, Bank of Nova Scotia, Leon’s, GDI and Lightspeed. I have held these stock for years and each position makes up about 1-2 % of my portfolio. I am looking for a bit more torque. Q: I have a 1% position in DOO and was planning on increasing it. With the recent fall off in price, this seems like an opportunity. However, it is a bit surprising given good results! Anything to worry about ? Good time to add or wait ?
I own NVDA & Qcom - both close to 5%. I notice in a response to to a question about entry points for NVDA that you suggest around $200. Does that mean you expect a significant pullback in the near future? If so, would that apply to Qcom as well ? Would reducing both positions by half be appropriate ?

Q: What small to mid cap companies can you recommend that have been beaten up due to market conditions but have a high chance of success long term? Looking at a potential entry point this year with the prospect of beating out the returns of larger cap names that may be in a similar situation. Q: This question concerns a well diversified Canadian portfolio (~30 holdings), focused slightly toward growth.

Looking to add to positions in ATZ, DOO, BN, BAM, GSY, KXS, TRI, PBH and T as well as initiate a partial position in WELL, all for long term holds (5+ years).

Q: I have owned this stock for a very long time but its share price is the same as it was 6 years ago and the dividend is small. I would appreciate your opinion of the future of this company. It is one of the first stocks I purchased and I accept there is an emotional attachment which could be clouding my judgement as I think I should sell it.
