Q: Hi Team,
I have heard DOO mentioned quite a bit in top canadian recommendations. Although sales have been good for the company and demand for their product is high, do you see sales/ numbers slumping for them for the next while due to supply chain issues. I know where I am the dealers have very little for inventory, and are only getting "spring break" snowcheck deliveries in for customers that pre ordered snowmobiles last spring. Will this not hurt their numbers for the next few months until supply chain issues getting straightened out?
Also, in a quick pitch...what are the main selling points for investing in this company for a 5yr plus time frame? Would it be one of your top picks today for canadian investment for share price appreciation...or after recent sell offs are their others you would choose over this one (please list)? Thanks

Shane.

Q: Hello, Between BYD and DOO, Knowing that they are both in different industries and are both great business, which is a better business with better growth prospects in earnings and revenue and with a long runway for growth. I also see that DOO is decreasing their share count whereas BYD has increased share count over the years..And which would you buy at the current market price? Thanks.

Regards,

Shyam

Q: What is your favourite Canadian growth stocks? Thank you!

Q: I have enough cash to top up either KXS or DOO. Once topped up, DOO would be about 4.25% and KXS would be about 3.8%. I note that KXS is in both the Balanced and Growth portfolios, but I don't know if that should give me more confidence in the company. And in an answer to an earlier question ranking top-up order and target prices, you gave the KXS target ($300) and the DOO target ($140), but in rank top-up order DOO was #3 and the KXS order was #5. I realize I'm over thinking this whole thing, and I should just pick one because both are good companies, but I get stuck when trying to decide. Both are in TFSA, so it won't be long before I can top up with new money. But any help you can give now to un-stick me, would be much appreciated. Whichever one you pick, I will stop ruminating and act.

Q: Thanks Peter. Your services have been very educational and rewarding. Had a good year. This is my first year of subscription and I just upgraded to the full Investor suite services. All the Q&A and research reports have been very helpful. It has made me more disciplined in my decisions as well as provided greater insights to the Investment process

As the end of the year, I am reflecting on the investments done in the year. I seek you opinion to opinion some of those as under. Position size or Industry allocation is not an issue. Time horizon is long 4+. No tax consequences and have patience; there is no need to raise cash

A. Stocks with above average returns-

ATZ 62%, TOI 72%, SIS 39%, TFII 19%, DOO 19%, NVEI 49%, WSP 32%, SHOP 19%, GSY 72%, U 106%

Do you recommend continuing to hold all of them? Would you consolidate sell some and add to some?
Would you endorse Investing new fund in 1 or 2 of them at current price to go to full position

B. Under performing stocks (loss/down)-

AT 56%, CTS 8%, EGLX 40%, LSPD 8%, MRS 69%, QST 35%, XBC 52%, Well 26%, AMGN 10%

Do you still have the conviction in these stocks? If yes which are best 3 and why? Do you recommend selling some of them or adding to some of them?

Again, thanks for your excellent services and deduct as many credits as appropriate

Q: This company BRP is very well run and has reported continuous growth, as well as seemingly never misses earnings.

Anyway my only concern is, in the current economic climate, with a company making "expensive toys" like BRP, how much of that likely downturn will affect its sales (and then directly on share price)?

I try to research back to 2008 (the last major economic crisis) but nothing goes back that far on line. Of course the forecast published by the company and selected analysts, though mentioned the current economy issues, still paint a very rosy picture for the near future.

Is my concern about the potential downturn and its effect on BRP valid? What is your take on this? Thanks.
