Q: I know you sold your crystal ball but I would like your opinion
on the possibility of the Bir.pr.a being called this sept. I own quite a few at a much lower price and since it is selling over the 25.00 I may decide to sell if it is to be called.
FYI terms of reset are 5yr boc plus 6.83%
today share price 25.71

Q: Why is Birchcliff Energy drop more than 6% interday?
They seem to have attractive upside with little debt.

Which Company do you prefer for the next 12 months, and which for a longer 4 year horizon?

Q: I need to increase my energy holdings and my fixed income. I consider preferrds for fixed income as long as the company is stable. You said you like Birchcliff but what do you think of the preferreds? Seems like a good deal at almost 8% dividend.

Q: which one do you like better, PPY or BIR? Also, which one would you invest in at today's prices with a 10yr + hold? What is the debt and FCF for each and do you have any concerns with eithers current debt level? Is there a better nat gas play for 10+ yr hold than either of these 2 companies?

Q: Hello Peter,
Mr. Seymour Schulich, continues to increase his holdings in Birchcliff Energy. Do you see this as a good sign to enter the name? It has risen quite a bit so am a bit reluctant. Do you still like Gold standard ventures and lastly would you consider Vermilion energy as a conservative play on energy? My concern is that it dropped quite a bit from a few years ago and is recovering very slowly. At the current rate, can you see the stock doubling in atleast 5 years. Thanks

What are your thoughts on Birchcliff acquisition of the Encana assets and the issuance of new Equity in support of acquiring these assets. Does it make sense and is the stock fully valued at this point given the recent run up since the fall?

Any idea why Tourmaline oil's stock price hardly moves or moves lower whereas Birchcliff Energy and Paramount resources continues to climb higher given that paramounts' balance sheet is not as good as Tourmaline's. Thanks
