Q: How would you order these three if you were buying today?

Q: Hi, Could you please comment on the secondary offering of $163 mln, for sale of 3.5 mln shares by Mason Capital at an agreed price of $46.55, a bought deal through Scotia.

Does the recent weakness has anything to do with this, in your view ( besides the GS report} ?

Q: I have a 2.5% position in ATS that is down 10%. The target position is 4% with a future 5 year hold in my TFSA. If you were in my situation, would you consider this a buying opportunity as the stock is below its 200 MDA or would you dump the stock to eliminate further loss? Please explain your reasoning. Thank you.

Q: Hi, Not a great day for ATS stock, Today, on the top of several weeks of declining share price, following the last quarterly results. Pressure on company's backlog was already noted by analysts' community, for last two quarters. However, except a couple, most Canadian brokerages stuck to their BUY ratings and price targets in the range of $61-$73. So, once again, there seems to be a noticeable divergence, when US based analysts cover Canadian Mid/Small Cap companies ( ATS: JPM - Hold $58 and GS: Sell $47 ). What is that they know and we don't ?

Goldman Sachs pointed to slowdown in Transportation, EV spending running in late stage of the cycle and company's lack of exposure to semiconductor capital expenditure. If, in your view, these headwinds are already reflected in the current share price, what catalysts do you see for share price appreciation, in the near term and going forward ? ( Besides expected growth in Life Sciences area, but whether, that will be enough to offset weakness in other sectors )

We own a 3% position ( with 20% loss, now ) and are contemplating, if a wait till next earnings release is worth it or this capital could be allocated to more efficient and attractive opportunities in the sector.

Q: Goldman Sachs just initiated coverage with a "sell". Thoughts? A little harsh? Or GS sees something in the last quarter that triggered the decision?

Long-term holder of SIS and barely above water. It seems like the potential has always been there, and decent div, but based off of some of your recent comments I'm wondering if a switch to ATS may make sense - both industrials, yes no Div (but growth trumps div's), and it actually appears ATS is cheaper than SIS on PE (though not on P:book).

3-5 years out, which do you feel has more potential to outperform the other? Thanks in advance. - Jeff

Q: I struggle with ATS and KXS whether to sell or continue to see drifting lower. I know you suggest selling if something fundamental has changed for the worse. People commonly thinking ATS is a growth name, but their backlog is shrinking, still a growth name? Fundamental changed? KXS's growth is declining as well....when it will resume their growth? If sell them, what to buy to replace? Can I have your thoughts? Thanks.

Q: Very disappointed by your reply yesterday to my question which looks like a plain dismissal, as you didn't utter a word on the second part of the question on industrials, while making it private as to avoid embarrassment.

Q: I like ATS but am down a bit over the past couple of years. PA suggests I boost my US positions. Im not optimistic about Canada's medium term growth prospects when compared to the US so this might be a good time to make some portfolio adjustments. I'm considering selling ATS and buying a US industrial, perhaps URI. Your thoughts, please. In the same vein, I am looking at Canada's telecom sector and I'm down in both BCE and T. Of course, both pay hopefully sustainable dividends. The US telco sector doesn't look much better. I'm considering bailing on the telcos and adding QCOM as a quasi-surrogate. I know it's rated as tech but telco's are all giving me headaches. Your thoughts please. Al

Q: Good morning - I need more US exposure as I am overweight Canada. I will need to sell some/all of holdings I have in PBH, L, ATS, TOU, SU and EIF. I hate to sell any of these companies but someone's gotta go to raise cash. Taxes are not an issue. Can you suggest US companies that you would like just as much, which pay dividends and which will keep me in the realms of Industrial, Consumer Discretionary, Energy. Thank you.

Q: Why is CAE struggling. With a large backlog and with little competition in its sector shouldn't it be profitable? Is there a management problem? Where do you see it going in the future? Buy or sell?
As well, what is your opinion of ATS going forward?

Q: Hi 5i team. Your thoughts on switching ATS for either BYD or TVK. Looking for growth over extended time frame in a non registered account. Worry about the recent run up of BYD and TVK and wondering if I should wait for a pull back or if I should just stay the course after ATS pull back. Not looking to add another position in my already heavy industrial holdings.
