Q: Hi 5i,
I currently have CAE and NFI and looking to add more industrials. Can you provide a couple of names you like at the current price, to start a new position?
Thank you!
Terry
Q: Do you foresee a significant increase in the use of robotics because of Covid? Would you be able to recommend a few companies involved in robotics? Alternatively is there an ETF dedicated to robotics?
Q: Good Morning
I currently have 37 positions spread over 3 accounts(RRSP,TFSA,INVEST). Most if not all are or at one time been in 5i’s model portfolios. Many of these are currently at 1.5% or less and although I believe they all have varying levels of potential their current weighting in my overall portfolio will have little impact unless they all go up. I believe I should consolidate the listed group, do you agree and if so which ones would you keep? Proceeds would be added to the remaining names.
Thank you for your continued advice and guidance.
As a side note you advice regarding non action in turbulent times is proof positive. Aside from harvesting some tax losses and buying proxies for a handful of names, my portfolio is now bordering on even for the year.

Q: Hi Ryan and Peter.
The gov'ts are talking about reopening Economy soon. A lot of stocks (except for the high techs) are still 50% less than the recent highs. Which industries or companies do you think will benefit from the reopening? Can you please provide 2-3 names in the US and Canada? I would like to move some money into my TFSA.
Q: I am thinking of selling CCL.B and buying ATA to crystallize a tax loss. Would you recommend this switch or is there another sector related stock that you would prefer vs ATA?
Thanks for your service
Q: I am underweight in industrials. Currently have a partial position in ATA. Would you recommend adding to this position and then adding a US equity such as RTN? Are there others you would consider instead?
Thanks!
Q: I hold XBC in my TFSA with a healthy 100% return. I am considering selling 1/3 of my XBC holdings and adding to ATA and GUD, which are under weight. Your thoughts.
Thanks
Roy
I have held this stock for the past year. With the latest earnings I am just slightly up. On Friday the stock was continuing its run up to 21.10. And then The news came out that the US did not agree to repealing all tariffs with China. With that the stock reversed and finished down for the day. My question is, is this Company’s prospects highly correlated to the trade dispute between China and the US?
Q: I have been monitoring the above list of stocks. I have some cash to deploy in the names. Can you please list the above names in your preferred order to purchase them. Which ones you like the best? Should I wait for tax loss selling season to see more pressure on the names. Thank you for your opinion.
Q: Can you comment on your expectations for ATS? Will this stick be solely dependent on economic growth or can it still grow despite the current economic headwinds and global slowdown?
Q: In light of the recent manufacturing numbers along with being down 21%, and approaching my mental 25% stop loss limit, I have the finger on the sell button and need a reason to hold?
I currently hold these stocks in an unregistered account. I have journaled over the five companies into a US account for the dividend. I would like to add possibly two more companies that pay their dividend in US funds. I have the rest of the balanced fund and some growth in my TFSA. Any suggestions to add here, and if it results in duplication, what would you remove from the list. I am well balanced and would likely have to sell at least one current stock and could just add the other if you can give me two. Was looking at Nutrien or AQN. Didn’t pull the trigger on AQN last year at 12.5.
I have a two part question. I currently have enough cash in RSP to add one new position. Disregarding the fact that these are completely different companies/sectors, which security looks most attractive today as an entry point for a long term hold - ATA, GSY, or MX?
And second part, considering that some believe Sept-Oct can be a volatile period, would you generally think its ok to purchase now, or would it be prudent to wait until Nov?
Q: ATS has been steadily falling for the last while - down 15% in a month. Any idea as to why? Their last quarter seemed OK. Is this a keeper, or is it time to leave?
