Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: My mining sector holdings including Yamana and Teck are down but still make up 6% of my portfolio. I'm fairly diversified but very light on Healthcare. I like dividends with some growth but am not risk averse. I have about a half position of cash to invest. Should I top up the mining sector or should I spread out to healthcare? If healthcare, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Q: Hello Peter & Co,
Yamana Gold has lagged Goldcorp (5i equity) and the XGD basket partly because of its venture with Osisko; I'm thinking of buying it (for one seasonal cycle) purely on a valuation basis.
I'm not confortable enough with gold to make it a long term holding.
Your comments?
Thanks
Tony

Q: My wife's RRIF has two larger positions (BCE,GWO), one smaller position (SVC) and a group of roughly equal in between positions (BIR,BEP.UN,CTY,CAG,PKI,YRI). She has reached that age when she must start her compulsory withdrawals . Going forward, are there 1 or 2 weaker stocks here or should I just reduce some positions to raise the necessary capital? Appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks
