Q: I own equal amounts of Veresen and Pembina. I do not want to double my shares in Pembina. Should I sell Veresen now (it is above the agreed selling price) or should I wait until the closing and sell off my additional Pembina shares at that time?

Q: When can we expect PPL to convert our VSN holdings to PPL? Has any date been set and what, if anything, do we need to do?
Q: What dynamics are driving the strength this morning? I own them both and opted for prorated cash for my Veresen shares in a TFSA with those details posted in an NR Friday.
Q: This is comment on your answer to Brian's question. For the record the merger has been approved during the July 11th meeting. It is important to know that instruction on options have to be submitted by tomorrow. Otherwise the default is receiving PPL shares subject to proration.
Q: good morning; what will happen to this stock once ppl has completed take over.thanks brian w
Q: Should we take the PPL shares or take cash and buy ENB?
Q: Vsn has hovered in the 17's for quite awhile with the cash price of 18.85.Could you comment
Q: VSN and PPL deal - in the Q&A you mentioned the stock swap would be tax free where is this information listed. Thanks
Q: The combined value of my holdings in these companies is too much for me to hold in one company. Does it matter which I sell or when I sell it? What percentage of a portfolio would you be comfortable with for the final holding?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
- Enbridge Inc. (ENB)
- Pembina Pipeline Corporation (PPL)
- Inter Pipeline Ltd. (IPL)
- AltaGas Ltd. (ALA)
- Keyera Corp. (KEY)
- Enbridge Income Fund Holdings Inc. (ENF)
- Veresen Inc. (VSN)
Q: Want to refine my pipeline/processor holdings consisting of ALA,ENB,ENF,IPL,KEY,PPL,VSN.
Looking for yield plus growth of ~7%. Have held all for over three years and some seem range bound,Not sure which have the most castalyst for growth.
Your thoughts on best to own and which to drop. Would likely convert the proceeds of disposed ones into more of the holds to maintain same total $ position in the group.

Q: I am currently up 28% on VSN. I am not sure when & what will happen when it is taken over by PPL. Should I cash out with profit or wait for the PPL stock. My gut says sell & buy back in to PPL later.
Thank You

Q: Would this be a good time to sell Vsn.pr.a or keep?
Q: Hi Peter:
Why would analysts raise their targets on Veresen to $20 this morning?

Q: Regarding VSN (Veresen) being bought by Pembina (PPL), some are suggesting this might put Enbridge in an untenable position (50% of Alliance!), and they will/should/could make a competing bid, particularly as the premium for VSN is still below what it was trading for a year or two back (as high as $19.40 in 2015, although they have sold assets since). Do you see this as a likely possibility? Is that what is causing VSN to trade below its takeout price?
Q: I own 1400 shares of VSN,collecting $117 per month! What will I collect from PPL per month in November?
Q: I own them both in significant quantity. Vsn trading about $18.16 and Ppl at about $42.56. Do you see any arbitrage trade between the two at this level or do you have any comments about this first day of trading after the news?
Q: Advice re the Pembina/Veresen deal. VSN is up and Pembina is down. Would you sell VSN and then purchase PPL with the proceeds on the hope it returns to its original price.

Q: I own both companies, should I sell Veresen or take the .4287 PPL exchange, either of those options would take me over a 5% allocation in my portfolio. If I sold the VSN and wanted another pipeline company who would recommend.
