Q: hi 5i, these stocks are in my cash account , I need to sale 2 or 3 of them to raise some cash. I'm happy with all of them. but unfortunately have to sale. I'm thinking I could let go SMCI (since I have NVDA), VHI, and META. Or trim a bit of each. Your opinion please! thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide a summary of Lumine with answers to the following questions. A summary of its fundamentals including revenue, earnings, free cash flow, profitability, debt, cash on hand and anything else that might apply.

How much revenue and earnings growth is projected over the next year as well as over the next three and five years.

I believe the share count is around 256 million. How much of this is owned by Constellation Software, Insiders, and Institutional holders and how many are left over for the public float. Is it highly likely that they will never issue any shares.

My understanding is that one analyst follows this company. Is this accurate.

Lumine is my number one growth stock at this point. Do you share this opinion.

Thank you.

Q: Weightings and portfolio considerations aside, what BE stocks would you be most inclined to add to today? Thanks!

Q: In any otherwise well diversified RIF portfolio I am considering exiting T and BEP.

I am looking to replace them with a couple of holdings that you feel have far greater upside in the next 3-5 years (realizing that the volatility may increase to some extent but in line with the potential for greater returns).

I have referred to several of your current favourites (which we do not currently hold) as potentials and am open to other suggestions you might have along the same lines.

If you could comment on the elimination of T and BEP and also if you believe any of the listed ones (or others ) would provide a substantially better risk/rewad profile over the next 3-5 years it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Terry

Q: What is your latest idea that you think is as good as when you initially identified LMN? Thank you!

Q: Hi team,

In your replies to questions you sometimes refer to "sleep at night stocks". Those above were so qualified, among others.
I would very much appreciate if you could provide a good list of such stocks at this point, both Canadian and U.S., in order of potential growth in 5 years or less, with a short comment summarizing your present view on each.

Please use as many credits as you see fit.

Gratefully,

Jacques IDS

Q: Good afternoon all;

I currently own LMN and KXS in equal sized positions in TFSA's. I consider these my higher growth oriented emerging technology investments. I've held LMN since $30 and traded in and out of KXS between $100 and $200 since 2019.

My question is whether future investment gains would be better served trading out of KXS (which has performed historically but become frustrating and seems a laggard recently) and into Topicus (which seems a bit opaque).

Thanks as always,

Dave

Q: The BE portfolio seems to have around 14% in these three related stocks. Can you please comment on why you are comfortable not seeing these as an overly concentrated bet for a balanced portfolio?

Thanks

Q: In watching BNN the other night, in talking about Constellation Software, Brian Madden mentioned that his fund has recently bought into what they view as a US based equivalent company. Unfortunately, much to my disappointment, he didn't mention who the company was. This did get me to wondering what (if any), US based companies you would recommend that are Constellation Software like and would he have perhaps have been referring to LMN?
Thank you again for the fabulous service!

Q: Hello 5i Team,
I hold these companies between two TFSAs and have room for two more, small cap, Canadian growth companies. What might you suggest. Sector consideration not an issue although I do recognize the importance of diversification.
Thank you

Q: Everyone, I have been watching the above growth stocks since late last year. I usually have one or two high growth quality stocks that will add to the average returns of my portfolio. My last purchase of a high growth stock was LMN, which I purchased last September, with an average price of $20.50. The ones I am watching now have risen significantly and I am hesitant to buy into them since they might decline 50%. So should I buy a small portion of each to maybe a 10% holding of my overall portfolio? Or should I wait till……..
