Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: You have, in the past, listed about ten companies (including CSU, X, KXS, CAE, BYD, ENB, ADW) that you felt had a unique opportunity to flourish under these special circumstances.
Asking the same question today, what would your updated list look like?

Q: You have referred to some stocks and ETFs as CORE. What percentage of portfolio would you recommend as core (relative to satellite holdings) and what would be the number of core stocks and ETFs for diversification. What core stocks and ETFs across all sectors would you recommend?.

Q: I have a question or perhaps it is a comment on the TMX group. It is a stock that in my opinion flies under the radar, it is not often mentioned in the media that I read or watch yet it has outperformed good companies such as CNR in the past 5 and 10 year periods. I would like to add to my position and would appreciate your thoughts and comments. Thank You.

Q: I started an RESP for my 2 grandsons about 3 years ago. Only 5 stocks in the account: 3 Cdn. banks, BAM and an energy company. It is doing much worse than my RESP or TFSA. I wanted safe, dividend paying stocks. Obviously the lack of diversification has hurt. I have some cash in account I would like to deploy. Please give me a few suggestions of companies I should add. Thx.

Q: Good morning 5i,

Looking to add two names to my portfolio, with the only criteria being a combination of balance and growth, and with a long-term horizon. Currently thinking of GSY and REAL/LSPD, are you good with these at today’s levels? Listed some others I’m interested in too. Any other of your favourites you’d consider (already own KXS, WELL). Thanks.

Q: These stocks are somewhat different [financials and commercial services]. For a long-term investment, please advise top 2 for growth with rationale. Since all are priced for perfection, would plan to initiate positions only.

Q: I'm a little concerned about the trade tension, possible 2nd wave of the virus, protesting, economic risk, etc.
Do you think we need to do something in case the market crash?
Currently I hold the above 4 stocks plus 20% cash. Are they safe? Any other stocks that you recommend?
Thanks!

Q: Portfolio Analytics indicates I am over allocated and perhaps over diversified in Financials: BAM.A 2%, BNS 2%, TD 4%, X 2%, BRK.B 4%, MA 6% and Industrials: CCL.B 1%, CNR 4%, NFI 1%, FDX 3%, HON 3%, LMT 6%.
Which positions would you recommend trimming or eliminating?
