Q: I have held X off and on over the tears in a balanced portfolio and at times it has done reasonably well. Current performance has been disappointing. Time to get rid of it? Not looking for substitute.

Q: You just published an excellent article by Michael Huynh on Canadian Companies that issue monthly dividends under certain criteria. Is there any chance you have the same criteria used on Canadian companies that issue quarterly dividends with the same criteria. With staggered investments I don't need to be that focused on monthly issuers.
Q: Which do you think might have a better return over next 2 to 3 years and why. Suggested entry point? Thanx.
Q: What is up with TMX Group shares ? Stock seems to be losing ground everyday, since its recent earnings release, which was solid and general trading/listing activity seems to continue to rise, Now its back to $53, the level, it traded in April.
Thank You
Thank You
Q: TMX Group has been consistently producing great results, for several quarters, coupled with dividend increases. But, its share price does not seem to be able to rise past $57-$58 level, even with most analysts revising their estimates and price targets, higher.
Is this price action consistent with its historical pattern, or we are missing something ?
Do you continue to like to own the stock for Income and Growth, over next several years ?
Thank You

Q: Hi, sorry for my apple to oranges question, but I’m thinking of selling Msft ( down) for tax loss and adding X for a long term hold. Would you be ok with this move, or do you feel Msft would be much better in the long term? Looking for the elusive combination of steady growth and stability.
Thanks

Q: Canadian HISA accounts do not have such good yields anymore. And the income is taxed as interest. I was looking at my 2022, 2023 tax returns and the revenue from canadian ETF like ZAG, XSB, XLB was mostly ROC. If I’m not wrong, thus, much more tax efficient? Wouldn’t be a good idea to switch from HISA to XSB, XBB, etc to park money in the next few months?
Do you know if high-Yield ETFs are taxed the same way (ROC) ?
USD-HISA are more generous so the logic might be different.
Thanks.
