Q: Good afternoon. I'm wondering what your top five picks would be for both industrial and financial stocks. I'm looking for 10-15 year growth with medium risk.

Q: for a retired dividend investor in canadian stocks which dividend payers do you think are the safest and have some growth potential. seems lately that a lot of dividend canadian stock that i have been invested in is having problems. [bce, td, t, bns, enb etc.]

Q: I am an income investor. I try and purchase equities who raise their dividend by approximately at least the rate of inflation. I hold both BCE and Telus. Given the announcement today by BCE that they will not be raising their dividend in 2025, what are your thoughts on selling Telus and purchasing BCE simply due to the spread in their yields in order to pick up the higher BCE dividend as sort of a proxy to make up for the lack of an expected increase?

Q: Hi All at 5i! I have 44K in CPD in a non registered account which provides me monthly income via dividends. I prefer a stock which pays a decent dividend but also offers some growth. I would like to sell my CPD which has given me no growth and reinvest in better growth/ dividend paying stocks. Could you offer me the names of 5 such stocks?.

Q: For a conservative dividend company, X stock had a rather large move during the past 12 months. Can you please comment on the current valuation, relative to its long-term valuation? Have the earnings roughly matched the increase in share price?

Q: Holding the following Financial sector stocks: BAM, BN, BNS, GSY, PRL, SLF, TD, X for a total of 20% in TFSA & RIF combined. Would like to reduce # of holdings to 5 or 6 and Financial % to about 15% . Your comments/suggestions/alternatives on the following setup would be appreciated:

Q: If you were an income investor moving into retirement and depending on this as part of your retirement income; what stocks or ETF's would you be buying right now in this current environment? Thanks.

Q: Any thoughts on OTCM (OTC Markets Group)? Trading around its 52-week low but it has been a solid compounder over the years. Is this a buying opportunity for long-term hold?

Q: I read an article in the paper today about something called the "Stable Dividend Portfolio". Basically it proposed that an investor select and hold the best dividend paying companies in Canada throughout the entire year. (Not buy in May and Go Away". Nor move back and forth from an emphasis on bonds to one on stocks. My questions are:
1. Have you heard of such a strategy and if so, do you agree with it?
2. What 12 Canadian companies would you select for such a portfolio?

Q: TMX share price has had a bit of a run up lately, and I think from a review of past answers must now be pretty close to the high end of its historical valuation range? Thanks as always for your incredible insight on all things investments. My questions revolve around Dividends.

I am new to the world of Dividends and to date I only own one Dividend paying stock (ATD); and would like to add several others as a means to diversify my investment portfolio. Hopefully I am not too late to the game. I am 50 and looking for long term investment.

I have taken a look at your Income Growth portfolio but if I am being honest, I don't know where to start. Knowing you cannot personalize recommendations - hoping you can at least offer solid guidance.

Can you please share you favorite 5-10 (CA or US) and rank starting with the best. Would appreciate dividend stocks which offer diversification across sectors if possible. Any best practices you could offer in this area (TFSA vs RRSP vs LIRA etc.); I would be most grateful for as well. Thank you in advance!

Q: It seems that the telco sector will faced with challenges for the foreseeable future with price pressures on fees (I see it on my own bills) and likely not being able to recover for quite sometime. It was easier to sell the position on the non registered account and take advantage of the tax loss. I have kept my positions in the registered accounts for the dividend but am now wondering if perhaps a sell would be make sense and what to replace them with. Any ideas with some dividend and a little bit of growth?
