Q: Reading some recent comments, it looks like you are recommending both of these. If you had to choose one for the highest overall gains in the next three years, which one would it be? Happy holidays and thank you.

Q: It’s RRSP season. I am very overweight the US market (and tech) and with the declining dollar, I am considering buying a Canadian security.
Can you list your 5 favourite Canadian Picks for a Canadian RRSP. I already own GSY, Propel, TVK. Considering CNQ as I have no energy exposure.
You can be aggressive or conservative in your recommendations. I have no preference as to market cap or sector.
Please rank your favourites.
Thank you.

Q: Hello team,
Can you help me understand please whether i should put new monies in TFSA towards bep.un or bepc ? On yahoo, i see bep.un has dividend of 5.87 percent but 1 year return of minus 2 percent where as bepc has dividend of 4.7 percent but one year return of 14 percent. From income and growth perspective, bepc seems to be better bet.. If this is the case, are investors losing out by investing in bep.un? i have huge loss in my rrsp from bep.un so would like to know where to put new monies as it seems brookfield would benefit from the energy transition. Alternatively, am i better off simply putting all my monies in BN and forget the spinoffs.. please explain and thank you ..

Q: Greetings 5i, doing some rebalancing and would like to add to 2 or 3 of the above positions. This is a RRSP account, all long term holds. In what order would you add today? Thank you.
Q: Could you please clarify your answer to Bruce Dec 5. In your answer you first say NVDIA as the 'if we have to pick one' but then you go on to say if an investor is looking at only one, you say you would be picking BN should be the investors choice if choosing only one ?????
Also, the ranking doesn't seem to match up with those comments...please expand.

Q: Hey guys,
I know apples vs oranges but would selling out of Atd.b and purchasing Bn (making it 7%) make sense inside a "balance" portfolio?
Thanks

Q: Of the above companies which would you choose for a TFSA if you were to select only one? Please rank them in order (best to "less best") re your expectations for long term growth (say, over the next 10 years).
If you had only one pick for a long term TFSA hold of any stock (or ETF) without regard to CAD vs US, market sector or market cap, what would that be, assuming a young (mid-20's) investor with a currently well diversified, growth-oriented TFSA?

Q: My question is on trimming winning stocks. You will often comment on this question that it is about the size of the stock in relation to your portfolio. I have a number of stocks that are half positions which are up 100-200% so now are almost full positions so I don't "need" to trim them. But I'm often tempted to trim at a new high to take some profits with the idea of re-buying on a pullback. I realize this is market timing so I hesitate, but I've also seen thousands of dollars disappear on a downturn. I have bought some stocks I think of as longer term trades so I have sold them after a profit and it has felt good to cement that profit so to speak. But some stocks like Apple, or BN that I see as more core holdings -with these type of stocks do I trim or just leave them, let them run and buy more on a pullback with new money presuming I have more. Any further articles on this would be appreciated as well. Thank you!

Q: Dear Peter et al:
Thanks to your persistent AND consistent faith in some of your high conviction stocks, my portfolio has done well! I just renewed my 5i Bundle subscription! (Your favourite pick BN alone paid for a few years worth of subscriptions!) My only request is to "fix" the search function in your ETF/MF Newsletter! Long over due my friend!!
I have asked this question several months ago and your answer once again proved VERY profitable! I had asked a few questions from different angles about NON-Correlated assets. Private Equity and Utilities and a few others ere mentioned by you. ALL of them are up till date!!
However at this current point in this cycle, post- election phase, how would you structure non-correlated assets? (To dampen my drawdown in Large caps/Tch/Financials etc., ) Any suggestions?

Q: Hello Peter,
At times you have stated "turnarounds seldom do" and I look at the future prospects of our Canadian economy thru that lens if the current gov't remains in power.
Could you list the sectors (and co's) that would be indifferent to and thrive in an imbecilic fiscal environment?
Thank you
