Q: I'm thinking of following your lead and selling Stella Jones in my TFSA. Also, I have a small amount of cash to deploy. I hold the above stocks in less than full positions. Which would you add to at this point? I could also include COV although it's near a full position after it's nice rise. Also, what are the implications of holding an American growth stock in a TFSA. What would be your top 3 suggestions if you were going to add an American stock. Charge as many credits as necessary! Thanks.

Q: Energy Sector - I am hearing that in 2020 the IMO will be enforcing ban on ships that use fuel with higher sulfur content. To take advantage of this can you recommend refiners that will benefit as well those oil companies producing more light oil. Thanks AJD

Q: This week I will reduce my current energy portfolio (@12%), bringing it down to two holdings to a total sector percentage of 5%. I need a second suggestion for the Energy portion, considering RRX, though with a tendency to PKI.

With the available funds, I’d like to get into the Tech and Healthcare sectors, selecting one new holding each. I have earmarked RHT and PHO for Tech, with CSU and SHOP as secondary options. For Healthcare, I’m eyeing GUD, COV and PLI.

This approach is geared towards a slightly balanced but still aggressive enough growth portfolio.
Please advise on your top picks for each sector. Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Q: I currently have a 12% weighting in Energy. 60% of which is split between ENB and PKI as my core holdings and the remaining 40% split between VET, WCP, TOG, RRX and CJ. I am comfortable with the ENB and PKI but I am wondering if I should make any changes to the other 5 holdings. Drop one or two of the weakest and concentrate on the remaining 3 or 4 stronger names? Trim all 5 and add another name? I am hoping the oil rally continues and I want to be in the best position to take advantage of it.
Many Thanks
Scott

Q: Rager just announced Q1 earnings with boe/d production averaging more than 24k/d and provided more details on East Duvernay well #1 normalized production rates.

Please share your opinion on the news. Looks like shares can move up on Duvernay results once analysts re-build models to include that acreage and additional drilling inventory.

I'm hoping RRX decides to stay one unit with the Viking cash flows paying for the Duvernay drilling, especially in this environment of strengthening commodity prices.
