Q: Today shareholders approved the TRP spin off of South Bow. Will this ultimately unlock additional value for TRP shareholders and if not, would it be better to sell before the spin off? If its a sell, would CNQ be a good replacement in the same space? Can you suggest any other companies in the same space with a stable and growing dividend? (I already own ENB and Pembina).

Q: Hi,
We own both Atd (3% position)and PKI (1% position). Which is the better company going forward? I am thinking about selling PKI and buying more Atd and maybe also adding to ENB(2% position) All these companies have had sizeable pull backs. Just trying to figure out what has the best potential going forward. No tax implications.

Q: Peter; Not sure if you’re aware that PKI is running an ad here (BC) asking for bids on 157 of their convenience/gas stores across Canada. Maybe ATD is weak because they’re planning a bid and might need to raise money.

Q: Christmas Greetings 5i Team!
I've owned Parkland Fuel for about 10 years now, and lately the stock's done very well. With the new EV sales mandates announced by the Federal gov't, would you continue to own a company whose main business is gas stations and fuel distribution? I'm thinking most people who can afford EV's are also likely to own a single-family homes and will charge at home. Of course, there is also the possibility that these sales mandates will be scrapped with a change in gov't in two years' time. Is it best to sell now, wait to see what happens in the next election, or continue to hold long term?
