Q: Enb in my portfolio has a book value of $42.16
And a yield of 7%. It now represents 10% of my portfolio. This my largest position in a portfolio of $630000. I generally buy for dividend and growth. Maybe I should reduce my position in ENB and take a 5% position in another dividend paying stock with growth potential. eg. CM or other opportunities. Any suggestions.

Q: Hi, Parkland Fuel share price has retreated this week, since company announced the private offering of USD$500 mln Unsecured Notes isuue.
Is this a concern? NR states its purpose to repay $250mln Term Loan, due 2021 and other o/s borrowings in revolving credit facilities. We have 2% position in RRSP accounts and have been considering to add in a Non Regd account to generate income (and growth). Is it reasonable and safe to view the pullback as an opportunity ? Thanks

Q: I bought PKI around 5 years being impressed with management and it has paid off.
However, I am slowly extracting myself from the oil and gas sector.
Could you give me 3 suggestions for replacement that mirrors the management quality and growth prospective of PKI. Any sector ( X o and g of course).
Thanks
Derek

- Pan American Silver Corp. (PAAS)

Q: I own all of these in equal weighting (7% each). Down quite a bit on NFI. Just seeing if I should keep it and give it the long term (10 years) to provide a good return or sell because there is a better company to replace it with for a better long term performance at this point. Any other recommendations as I do have some cash side lined at this point (30%).
Q: I'm looking at adding these for a recession/defensive type of portfolio.
For a longer term holder, do see any reasons not to buy these ones?
Do you like any one of these more than others?
Thanks as always....

Q: It seems that the Burnaby refinery will be going close to flat out for awhile if gas prices remain at these currently high prices and demand levels.
Would this have a significant effect on their total profitability?

Q: PKI reported a fairly nice Q1 result on 5/01 and yet the stock failed to gain any traction. Did I read the Q1 results too optimistically or there are other reasons? Please help. Thanks.
Q: Regardless of size, safety or anything else, who has more growth over a three year period, thanks?
Q: I am investigating where to invest my proceeds from KWH.UN once funds are received. I see that back on Mar 25th you recommended SPB. Since then it has been removed from your Model Income Portfolio. I also see that you have recommended PKI over SPB. I have about 2.7% of SPB in my portfolio currently. I am interested more in income then growth as we are now living off investment income. Funds that will be received are about 1.1% of total invested. I aim for 5% in a holding so would prefer 1 rather the both. Which would be preferable in your opinion? Is there a better ETF or other company?
Q: After an initial bump this morning, Parkland is about at yesterday's close. Q1 seemed very good on several metrics. Do you think investors are concerned about the revenue miss?
Q: Disregarding everything else, which of these two companies would have more growth, and which is safer over a two-five year period, thanks
Q: Please provide your thoughts on PKI's quarterly results. Thank you.
