Q: Good morning to you and thanks for all the wonderful help and insights you give us. I enjoy the access to the members Q&A to help me with my investment decisions.

What am I missing when it comes to OSB ? Very low PE, great profit per share, excellent dividend, and yet it seems to be routinely out of favour (certainly in the past few days). Please help me understand this one, as I am wondering if it is a good time to add to it in this current dip.

Q: I recently added a few "commodity" stocks and they've recently had very strong runs...Would you be inclined to hold them or take some profits? None of them represent an oversized portion of my portfolio. I'm just thinking after such sizeable gains in a short term...they must be due for a pullback. What macroeconomic indicators would you use to identify a change in outlook?

Q: Morning 5I Team,
I was curious to ask what your opinions were about Cascades. The company is currently undervalued P/B, however the only issue is it's debt load. I really like how they own a majority stake in an Italian packaging company, which could grow significantly with the rise of online shopping in Europe.
If not, could you give any recommendations in this similar industry? (Boring and under the radar)
Thank you,

Q: I'm interested in taking a position in the forestry sector as this high flying sector is seemingly under the radar. Of the following main stocks in forestry: WEF, CFP, CAS, IFP WFT, OSB, kindly rank them in the order of which ones should have the highest growth potential in the next year or so. Thanks.

Q: WFT, SJ, OSB and LNR all seem to be getting hammered today - and I have searched and I don't see any bad news about any of these. Is this due to concerns over NAFTA - or is it something else?

Q: My question concerns forestry stocks. In your opinion are these really just trading opportunities or do they have a place in a buy and hold portfolio that first concentrates on income and secondarily on growth? What are your favourite forestry stocks?

Thank you

Paul

Q: With the major devastation of some cities in the Southern USA in late summer I invested in Norbord as they have several plants in the vicinity manufacturing building materials. I invested in Norbord in August and the stock price started to climb in September until 2 things happened:
a fund managed by BAM had a secondary offering of Norbord shares owned by that fund at a selling price of $42.50 and TD downgraded the stock after upgrading it the week before. At approximately the same time Norbord increased it's dividend from $.50 to $.60. With the secondary offering I suspect that a number of the fund holders sold the Norbord shares realizing a quick profit but driving the market value down because a large number shares becoming available (approximately 4-5% of the issued shares). I expected a quick recovery but the TD downgrade seems to have affected the market value. Why did TD downgrade this stock? I think this is an excellent opportunity to buy this stock but I have not been able to find out why the downgrade by TD. Thanks
Mike

Q: It was announced last Friday after the market close that Brookfield distributed over 7M shares of OSB to its fund investors. The stock was $49.70 at the time and is dropping every day to $47.00 presently.
How does this type of distribution play out. What price do those investors pay and do they sell it right away in the open market to cause the share price to decline? Thanks TEAM

Q: It has had an 8% drop at the end of the week. When I checked with Globe Investor there was an indication beside it - upgrades and downgrades. Do you know anymore than I do? DOO - (BRP) I notice that people have written in about the decline in the stock and you had mentioned about a secondary finance. What does that mean? Does that mean they issued shares, they borrowed money? Could they be falling in sympathy of Bombardier's court loss to Boeng? Thanks Dennis
