Q: Hi 5i,
I am looking at adding OSB in my dividend portfolio. I see it is trading around P/E=4.2 with a yield of about 17%. Is yield safe and have they cut yield in the past? Is their debt manageable? Is the low price just due to the current low demand for building products? What sector does OSB fit into? Is their any growth in the future?
Thanks for your views on this company.

Q: Any reason for the price drop ?
Q: Would you buy OSB ($36.42) at this price and wait for a turn around while collecting its' dividend?
Dividend is $6.30/17.3% - is it safe or will it be cut?
Tks.

Q: I am comfortable having about 10% of my non-registered account in the forest products sector. About 55% of this amount is Norbord and the other 45% is split about evenly among Canfor, Interfor and West Fraser. Norbord pays a good dividend; the others don't. Would you suggest any consolidation or rebalancing here or changes that might improve upside potential? All four are down relative to original purchase so any adjustments here would only trigger tax losses.
Q: Do you think it is likely that there will be a cut or do you think that the dividend is safe?
Thanks,
Philip
Thanks,
Philip
Q: Hi!
What is your opinion of OSB.TO? They have been doing share buyback and great dividend.
Thanks!

Q: I see that well over 10,000 homes in California have been destroyed. At what point does the rebuilding of at least 10,000 homes have an material impact on Norbord or any of the lumber companies?
Q: What would be your choice between WEF and OSB currently? Looking for sector exposure and think the valuations are attractive after the recent sell off. Will either or both face tax loss selling pressure?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Q: Hi I bought TSGI at 42 ish and now is at 29ish at the time I bought you were recommending don’t know if I should sell or hold also OSB is falling can you tell me your thoughts on it. Thank you
Q: Is there anything that might explain the nearly straight drop in Norbord since its special dividend? This stock has been a falling knife. What would be your entry point?
Q: It is down 30% in the last two weeks. Should I add to my position?

- Norbord Inc. (OSB)
- Transcontinental Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (TCL.A)

Q: I am getting beat up by the above companies --all down 20 to 27%.
I am not comfortable with these kind of losses--usually bail out around 10%
Which proves to be a mistake sometimes.
What is your reccomendation SELLor HOLD and for how long if you are suggesting I hold.
Thanks
Peter

Q: I am currently sitting with a 25% capital loss if I crystallize. Would you sell and buy back in 30 days, sell and not buy back or hold. Please advise why you would do the action you recommend.
Q: I understand that OSB would drop by $4.50 when it paid out the special dividend but do not understand why it has continued to fall in share price. Do you have some knowledge of what is happening? Also, if there is no good reason, would it be a good time to add some to my portfolio?
Q: Could you please explain why OSB drops by around $5 today ? Am I righr that it is only 2 days away from receiving a dividend of $4.5 dividend for stock on record as of Sept 1?

Q: Re OSB announcing a "dividend of $4.5/share to shareholders of record Sept 1"
....I can't tell whether that is meant to be an ANNUAL or ONE TIME dividend?
.. Are you able to clarify?
Also, could you please comment on the listed stocks...which do you hold most favourable and why, also the suitability of purchase of any of these NOW
Thank-you
