Q: this is a comment not a question, I just read your response on nfi about it's share price drop. last nite i received a notice from td that nfi is issuing a prospectus secondary offering on a bought deal basis at $40.40 expecting to close sept 27. I assume these will be the shares from the said seller. why kick investors in the teeth to the tune of 5% when the stock has been averaging higher prices.
Q: NFI fell very substantially this morning. We have well over 100% profit in our joint portfolio, and even more in our TFSAs. Hold on, or time to trim? - Ted
Q: Hi, Can you please comment on Marco Polo sale of 4.5 mln shares on a privately arranged bought deal. (Any idea of the price?) I understand that they still will own 6.5 mln shares. This is the 1st and largest shareholder deciding to monetize a sizable portion of their holding on the heels of the company's 2nd largest private equity shareholder slowly and contantly offloading large blocks of their shares over past 6-9 months. Is there a theme here? New Jersey issue is still an overhang. What are your thoughts ? Thanks

Q: Do all above companies fall under Industrial? My total weight is 13% Is this too high? I feel that I have too many companies in this sector and may be better to have only 4-5? STN and WSP are similar so would it be better to sell one of these and add to the names that are listed. I am also thinking of selling ET and taking the proceeds to add to the other names now leaving me with 5. Is this a good approach?
Thanks

Q: I own this stock and I am concerned about the number of insiders selling this stock. Would appreciate your comments. With thanks, Bill
Q: I was wondering about the coming or on-set of the drive-less buses. Are they going to be producing the drive-less buses? Do they have the knowledge to produce the drive-less buses? And, what about the the present production of buses, and how it would affect the change-over of production?
Q: We are on vacation (but still reading 5i of course). Vancouver transit uses New Flyer made buses and they appear to be well made and designed. Much better than the clunkers used on the Wilson line here in Toronto.

Q: I have held ATS for almost 3 years with a capital gain of 13%. I would like to see a larger gain in the future but note the fall in order bookings & backlog. Do you think this is a sign of future problems ? Do you think ATS is worth continuing to hold or are there other companies that you would favour. Other Industrial sector holdings are BOS, LNR, CJT, WSP, DRT, XTC, KBL.
Thank you as always.

Q: I have done very well over the last few years with New Flyer & Boyd. What do you foresee in the short term for both of these companies?
Q: I guess this is a happy problem to have, due to gains in New Flyer I am going to have to look for a replacement for it.
It has grown to being a large portion of my portfolio and will have to be trimmed.
Do you have any recommendation for a replacement?

Q: Would you be ok with a switch from BOS to NFI? As with other members, I've been a bit disappointed with BOS and am looking to reallocate within the Industrial sector.
Q: Hi, Could you please on New Flyer earnings ? Looks like a very strong quarter ! Do you see a strong full year, too ? Pay out ratio has dropped significantly. How would it benefit the co. and shareholders ? As Company reports in US$, does exchange rate fluctuations impact the results in any way? Thanks for your valued insight.

Q: I am currently hold Cervus in my TFSA at a large loss. Would a switch to New Flyer make sense at this point?
Q: Good Morning
Magna and Exco make up about 9% of my registered account. I would like to add New Flyer based on your comments. Would you endorse a switch from XTC to NFI? Do you see NFI as auto related? I am concerned with my sector exposure.
Thank you
