Q: Hi, this stock was recently added to Balanced Portfolio has dropped sharply from its recent highs.

New Flyer today closed at $37.83, which is off by about 15% from its recent high of $44.87, reached just after quarterly results. When Marco Polo decided to sell about half of its stake @ $40.40, the secondary issue was oversubscribed 3/4 times. In one of your recent comments also, this weakness was again attributed to one large seller.

It has been widely believed that lately NJ issue has been responsible for the depressed stock price. Today's weak backlog numbers and sequential decline in ECU deliveries besides lower after market sales have caused market to press the panick button resulting in another sharp drop.

My concern is that stock may not recover in near term and is even at the risk of losing more value. Should I bail and find better use of my capital? Thanks

Q: Hello,

The following 5 companies are on my buy list to complete my portfolio:

PBH
TOY
NFI
BCE
CAR.UN

I have room for two in my TFSA, two in my non-registered and one in my RRSP. How should I divide the above 5 stocks into these accounts?

My plan is to buy on pullbacks. But I'm thinking about buying CAR.UN now because it has already pulled back on the mortgage news. Does this make sense?

Q: Starting a new portfolio of higher risk stocks to offset my more strategic long term investments. I have listed several juniors that are either in your Growth Portfolio or have been lately receiving considerable attention. Would appreciate your comments, order of preference & recommandations. Please deduct whatever number of credits you feel appropriate. Thank you.

Q: I own all three and would like to increase my weightings up to a maximum 3-5% position in each name. What do you guys think of these names currently? Will the recent news about tempur-pedic affect sleep country much?
Good job on bnn Ryan.

Q: this is a comment not a question, I just read your response on nfi about it's share price drop. last nite i received a notice from td that nfi is issuing a prospectus secondary offering on a bought deal basis at $40.40 expecting to close sept 27. I assume these will be the shares from the said seller. why kick investors in the teeth to the tune of 5% when the stock has been averaging higher prices.

Q: Hi, Can you please comment on Marco Polo sale of 4.5 mln shares on a privately arranged bought deal. (Any idea of the price?) I understand that they still will own 6.5 mln shares. This is the 1st and largest shareholder deciding to monetize a sizable portion of their holding on the heels of the company's 2nd largest private equity shareholder slowly and contantly offloading large blocks of their shares over past 6-9 months. Is there a theme here? New Jersey issue is still an overhang. What are your thoughts ? Thanks

Q: Do all above companies fall under Industrial? My total weight is 13% Is this too high? I feel that I have too many companies in this sector and may be better to have only 4-5? STN and WSP are similar so would it be better to sell one of these and add to the names that are listed. I am also thinking of selling ET and taking the proceeds to add to the other names now leaving me with 5. Is this a good approach?

Thanks
Dolores
