Q: Energy stocks are breaking out,I remember you mentioned many times MEG was takeover target yet missed it,Is it a good buy now?which energy stocks if any you would recommend now.
Q: In reviewing Meg press release on their 2020 Capital investment plan if ones assumes a $60 WTI, 94,000 bbl/day (the low end of guidance), a Operating plus G&A cost of $6.75 (the high end of guidance) less $250 Million of capital expenditures leaves free cash flow of approximately $1.57 Billion of which they plan to apply to debt reduction. Debt was at $3.257 Billion at Sep 30, 2019. Is this too good to be true? Am I missing something? Thanks

Q: In a recent answer to a question on an oil company, you mentioned that it is hard to be optimistic on a company if you don't like the management team. So my question is, which of the management teams in the oil sector would you want to align yourself with, and why? Alternatively, which of the management teams would you not align yourself with? Please deduct as many credits as necessary to fully answer my question. Thank You.

Q: I am considering adding a few long-term positions to my registered accounts and looking for ideas in oil & gas - income and growth. A few names are noted above, however, looking for your top 5 recommendations.
Q: CVE and MEG are considerably under-performing the energy sector this week, I'm guessing partially due to investors are doing some profit-taking since the TMX just got announced as the market has been hoping for. I have some decent unrealized gain in CVE and MEG, and noticed WCP was down a lot this Monday on unusual high volume, do you think it's a good idea to swap my energy holding from either MEG or CVE into WCP?

Q: Hi Team
I am looking for oil companies to invest in, I would like a mid to small cap, company with reasonable debt and fairly decent cash flow. I don't mind taken higher risk with small caps, I just feel that it gives me a better upside, and like I say I don't mind the risk. Would like a little in the oil sands as I see the wti discount is a lot lower than before and have read that the world refineries are short of the heavy oil, not sure if this is true or not. Lastly what gas producers will benefit from the new pipe line and refinery, assuming that the darn thing gets build. I know I have asked a few questions so please take as many credits as you like
Thank-you
Auftar

Q: Your thoughts on investing in these stocks at this time. Meg seems cheap at this price as was to be sold at $11.00 per share. Take as many points as deemed necessary.
Q: I bought Meg at $5.36 on the day that merger failed. is it worth holding or sell? Company debt? Your thought please, thanks
Q: Recently you stated "We find it a bit interesting today. Management is under the gun to show it did the right thing by fighting the HSE takeover attempt. " My impression of the CEO interview on BNN last Friday was they are focusing on debt reduction with no intention of production increase. I'm pretty sure your not "a bit interested" because you expect a jump in the price of oil , management has indicated no production increase, I'm curious as to your rationale here?
Q: What are the estimates for the upcoming quarter, previous record of beats vs miss? Any other thoughts in general on current investment thesis please?
Q: With some "mad money" I bought MEG after Husky walked away looking for a short term trade, not as an investment. After laying on a beach for a week ignoring the market - as much as possible - I am down 6% as I type this question. If it was your $, what would you do?
