Q: Hi 5i team - In a recent response to my question regarding a junior resource company you mentioned that the management was good but not in the excellent range. Would you be able to recommend a few junior resource companies that in your opinion do have excellent management and/or exploration teams. I am not interested in companies that produce gold, just ones that explore for gold, silver or even base metals. Thank you.
Thanks also for the excellent service in 2018 and all the best to everyone in 2019!

Q: Hi 5i team - I have heard recently that the demand for nickel will increase as the production of batteries increases. Could you please give me your opinion on the accuracy of this statement and also your view on the supply of nickel. Is it really dwindling as the author of this statement claims. Are there other uses for nickel that could have an effect on the market. Also would you be able to provide the names of a few companies involved with nickel that you think are well managed with decent fundamentals. Perhaps one major producer, one smaller mid-tier producer and one or two whose main focus is exploration. Thank you.
Q: I have zero allocation to minerals, mining and material stocks in my portfolio. Do you feel that some exposure is warranted for diversification purposes?
If so, what one or two companies would you suggest to achieve broad exposure while minimizing downside risk. I prefer larger companies that pay a dividend.

Q: Hi.
I want to invest in a Mining company that engages in copper mining as well as other minerals. I have been reading alot about the renewable energy market and I feel as though copper, aluminum, lithium, cobalt, as well as other minerals linked to renewable energy will be continuing to grow in demand. I know that as a commodity Copper is low right now. I was looking for a shorter term investment (1 to 3 years) as well as a longer term investment (5 to 10 years) in a good mining company that mines for minerals linked to renewable energy. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks
Rob

Q: Of the 5 mining Co's, which one would you say is most globally diversified with best growth prospects, if the world doesnt hiccup too badly with current trade rhetoric ? Or maybe, a Co. not mentioned, I know Teck is the largest-diversified, but maybe another has more torque to the upside of a particular metal, maybe gold/ lithium miner ? I'm seeking Cdn competitive advantage with U.S dollar revenues.

Q: Good day my question is with all the talk about solar/wind power and electric transportation etc. what are the top 3 copper stocks to invest in ? thank you
Q: Knight, Celestica and Lundin Mining are all trading at close to 1:1 price to book (per the Globe). Is that meaningful at all for any of these companies? Is it a "value" indicator that suggests better days may be ahead? Your thoughts, please. With thanks.
Q: Wich one will you pick between LUN & GLNC, given Tesla's Cobalt requirements and the ensuing tome frame for the demand of Cobalt.
Q: What's going to happen with this class action against LUN & the effect on the stock price?
Q: I recently needed to sell Lundin (at $8.61) to raise some cash, and was kicking myself as I saw it go to $10+. I am currently underweight materials. Following today's big drop would it be your top choice in the materials sector? Would you advise that I buy it back at the current price.
Q: What happened with LUN today, and what is your take?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Q: hey folks, I own arg, cmmc, ncu, and lun. I am very positive on copper and zinc. are there any other copper or zinc stocks you would recommend or an etf, that you would consider. what type of news would make copper drop. keep up the good work. you make investing less stressful. thanks bill
Q: Does Lundin Mining produce zinc. Zinc appears to be moving up and I am wondering if this is the company to invest in. Or Teck Resources? or some other company. Thanks.
Q: Hi, what is your outlook for base metals for the next 12 months?
Do you feel a need to have exposure?
If so, please rank the above three in terms of your preference. If you have a favourite outside of the list, please share. I own a bit of teck.b already.
Thank you
Karim
